Quite a big speculation for a price, Do you mid to share what makes you think Ethereum will reach the 5 thousand dollar mark? So far as i checked the forecast and/or speculation for Ethereum it went down, Last month it shows that ETH will go over a little 1300 USD now ti shows that it will be close the year, Close to a thousand dollar. With in 5 years it is expected to hit 3200 plus plus US dollar.

ETH will always be necessary for several things, so don't worry too much. Look at ETH as the gateway into new projects.

Yes it is true that ETH have a great potential of growth and it can be reach to $5000 price level in future but in my view it is not possible till 2018 end it may be take 2-3 years to achieve this level, if all the things are go in right way.

The same here I believe that it is possible but 2018 is going to be a slow year for BTC and all the other altcoins. I would have to say to reach this goal the Ethereum team would need to step it up ETH does not need to fail so much and people need to hold to reach this goal. Do not sell!!!£

Personally I believe that Ethereum will reach $5000, but not in this year. But I am absolutely sure, that it wil start to recover next year and may be it will get that goal by the end of 2019.

I would hate to say it buddy but not this year Before this years crash I expected it possible but now it will be at least 3 if not closer to 5 years before we see that price increase

I dont think so however in coming few years it may reach to this level because it has massive potential to gain this value.Crypto market is still bloody,so i think ETH will take some time to reach this level or beyond this level.Smart contract different applications are under review by ETH developers,if in future it brings some more innovative technology then it will boom above this level but currently its not possible.

Yes, in my opinion, the exact price of Ethereum this year is $ 5000, so it's better to buy now. Don't take this opportunity wrongly, because the prices there will be higher in the next few months. Because there are many startups using blockchain from Ethereum. I think it will have a positive impact on the price.

Because for me I believe that ethereum has a potential to get that price before 2019 . What's your prediction ? 

I am very bullish about Ethereums future since it is the most used coin for ICO’s and in just few years the price shoots like a hockey stick. So for me it is possible to hit that price due to its large demand.

Everybody understands now that Ethereum can hardly reach 1.5 thousand (even a thousand) this year. I can really admit that it will cost 5.000 but many years will pass before we see this high price.

I guess that's possible, but i  am pretty sure it will take some time. Maybe within this year we can reach 3000 $. However, if everything goes as expected we can reach 5000 $ by the end of 2020. I will keep holding anyway.

I believe in history repeating itself and to see Ethereum rises back to more than 1,000$ is quite possible before this year ends but i don't really think it can hit 5,000$ as we know how slow Ethereum has moving up as it got stuck in the 400$ mark.

The value of ethereum right now is $400 so ethereum really need some boost to hit a $5000 , but I'm still hoping that it would happen soon enough to make my life successful.

The price of course is not very much now and yet I think that buying is still early. Just everything that is changing in the market so it's the price of bitcoin and there is no certainty that the market will not go to touch the new bottom in a moment...

I think it's a good price for this coin. I do not think that$ 5000 Ethereum can get, as a result of the growth of the entire cryptocurrency market. Since Ethereum is connected with many ICO companies and, of course, with bitcoin. First bitcoin grows, and then all the other coins. So we need to wait for the growth of bitcoin, and we will see a good price from Ethereum.

Hmmm what an amazing price prediction for ethereum. I also would like Ethereum to hit to 5k price levels. Through the lightining network similar Plasma technology upgrade, it may be possible to reach that prices. Who knows ?

it seems like it is very heavy and it will require a lot of buyers to be able to make such an expensive ethereum, ethereum there should be good news that can trigger investors and traders who have big capital to buy ethereum simultaneously focus on one exchange place.

I am a big fan of eth but i don't see a $5k price for eth until after 3 years. A 10x increase is not realistic at this time that cryptocurrencies are facing left and right issues to be addressed first. Nonetheless $5k is not impossible for an alt as good as eth.

I do not think it will be that much.
Ethereum is used for ICO projects but there are currently many ICO projects and there is the scam so Ethereum opportunities up to 5000 USD will be difficult.
Probably the only increase to 2000 USD course because of this few months Ethereum always decreased in price.
