I think the Bounty posts are separate to advertising for ICOs. Facebook can't police the type of comments people make or what they are interested in sharing (unless those things are actually illegal).

Kind of heard about it too from a friend but I don't think this is totally effective because facebook cannot hunt every post down.

It is already difficult to use Facebook to do ico promotion. If you do it soon, you will be able to verify your account very often. I think they may ban your account, so I have not been involved in Facebook for a long time. .

Everything is normal with Facebook bounty campaigns. Just a little changed the rules, you can no longer advertise questionable projects.

Is facebook really strict about this? I am not joining facebook campaigns now so I am not fully aware about the risk of joining facebook campaigns. But now I will be more careful.

I haven`t anything like this, I'm doing FB campaign and luckily or not I wasn`t banned. I know that Facebook blocked ICO advertising, but bounties are still alive.

Some bounties that I joined in terminated the FB campaign because of their advertising ban. It seems that if the ICO promotion did not pay FB, maybe as an advertising fee, then their link is always deleted and marked as spam. Even on messenger, they always blocked the link and you can not send it.
I just found out about this, if the link about ICO always deleted by the facebook, because so far I still follow bounty with social media campaigns such as by using facebook. and until now I have never experienced such an event

Facebook campaigns to me are very important but bounty managers do not seem to notice this and by so doing allocate a small pool for Facebook campaigns. They do not consider the high number of participants so in the end bounty hunters do not get anything. This should be taken a second look at for pushing campaigns forward.

The prohibitions never yielded the desired result. Especially in a democratic society. They will continue to advertise and find ways to promote their company.

There are some bounty campaigns that facebook and twitter campaign is just one to gain the stakes, it means that the allocated budget for facebook and twitter campaign is now as one. But if facebook campaign will be no longer exist this will sure be a huge lost in advertising there projects.

Why is facebook so against crypto currency? What hinders them if I publish the news on my page? Or I will join the group on crypto-currency .. Mainly limit spam.

Apart from what we have seen earlier in the facebook, there has been a talk for some time on Advertising of the ICO'S in the facebook pages. Apart from their violations or rules and regulations, there has not been such thing as banning profiles or stopping ICO's campaigns on Facebook. as people who advertise ICO'S don't spam for a time furthermore that would be ok for facebook for getting diverted in this case. the ones who stay legit are going to shine in the market and gain some potential from facebook. But most of them are spam on facebook so in this case, Facebook is just trying to get a hold on it. and in the advertising case, Facebook has already been prepared for further changes of development of good and services on its website.

Facebook campaigns are still okay, because the only thing that facebook restricts is accepting paid advertisments from these scammy ICOs.

If you advertise not aggressively without offering investors something to buy and write about the advantages of the company, they do not block the account.

Facebook is really very strict when it comes to advertising. That's because they hold to their policy that they are a social media site. Even in their paid ads, it is not easy to post advertisement. They may ban your account if you would not follow their advertisement policy.

Hello, I'm currently concentrating on SPARKSTER only and they do have a Facebook campaign. In fact, the points to be gained are significant. It's a great project by the way, and the bounty ends tomorrow. I wrote a review here: https://twitter.com/nalaiqpaanda/status/1007386619811434497Do give it a read! Faheem

I just saw that a bounty stopped their facebook bounty program and I read that they are stopping this program since facebook banned ICO advertisements. But I thought that individuals are free to post about the ICOs.
So someone please make clear that facebook totally banned ICO ads or not?
If yes means no more facebook campaigns right then what will be the effect on the ICO sale due to this kind of action.
I don't think its prohibited still i can post and share about ICO's and other related to cryptocurrency if facebook is already implemented the so called ban. why there is still Cryptocurrency related post and Sponsorship flooded in facebook but we cant sure how long it will continued.

To what i have seen in the facebook ads, some of the ICOs (legit ones) are still able to use the facebook paid advertising program which i suspectedly they will only restrict ICOs from joining if facebook thinkgs those projects arent legit.Facebook terms and conditions states that they wont be accepting any ICOs to use their paid advertisements but some has been using it for quite a whilte. You are right facebook users are still allowed to post and promote using their facebook profiles, there are no current restriction from doing that,as far as i know if you arent violating any facebook guidelines your account will be safe from getting disabled.

I don't think Facebook has totally banned ICOs there are still a couple of ICOs out there with their links in facebook and bounty hunters participating through this, just like google, i think there has been a major crackdown on Illegitimate ICOs in facebook, so much so that the ICOs themselves chose to close down in fear of being ut to lame light but the face bok bounty is still very alive
