Online is not a genre, the genre is a style of play which will be inside. This style will be similar to RPG, Strategy, in my opinion. Perhaps also with the Real-time based elements, but it isn't sure. Generally, the genre can be seen it is banal on a poster.

Any I think it's a valid question, to get more info on what the team members did prior to this, it reasures the users that the project is getting done by people who allready know the ins and outs of the business, and that the project is more likey to succeed.

BitGuild platform will open to 3rd party developers in 2018 Q3, if you are a game developer, you will be able to list your game to the platform and get PLAT token as payment when players make purchase inside your game ( buy items )

To get your game listed on the platform, there are some requirements:
- Utilize blockchain and smart contract
- Accept PLAT AS THE ONLY PAYMENT OPTION
- Tokenize game assets and store them in players wallets
- Allow for the buying/selling/trading of in-game assets

I don't think Bitguild will be supporting an offline game because an offline game was so easy to be hacked so supporting an offline game was a horrible decision.
