I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years) and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore, any suggestions? Your problem is that you hold really useless shitcoins. Try to hold something more promising, or used and bigger, and you'll see the difference.

Holding is not necessarily bulshit as you claim. it all comes down to the decision you made on which coins to hold. if you held the right coins then they will get you good returns, dont expect high returns by holding low potential coins

Holding and trading are both good strategies, but you should not blindly follow the only one without considering market situation.

If you look at the market, there are a lot of coins that are going so high even in just a year, if you have only gotten one of those coins and held for 5 years, you could have earned a fortune. I say it's not completely bullshit, yes lots of coins are steady as a rock, but some are also promising. Its just a matter of selection what to hold and luck.

you are just not careful in choosing the coin is really good and also less patient to save it, whether you have come develop the project? if yes I think you deserve to get high profits so you do not have to hold too long coin you have.

Holding varies from the coin, we need to choose the good one and has a great possibility to rise quickly. Most of the time the reviews in ICO helps us to choose what are the best coin that we need to keep or hold. Better choose the good one.

You should only hold if you really believe in the coin/its technology or if it has a lot of hype built around it. Holding coins is not even the greatest way to earn money from it, but that's probably the safest if you invested in a good token. Always take a look at new entries in the market and take your decision accordingly.

Holding itself is not bullshit. What's bullshit is the coins and how you handled them. Let's see you invested on crap coins, but it would not take you that long if you observed earlier that they are not making any changes to please you. You would see that in less than a year or two, but 3 to 5 years? Continue to explore new coins, there are still a lot of good coins out there. No matter how good and promising coins are, you must also observe and listen to your instinct.

It's not because holding is a bullsh*t but your altcoins that you hold don't have a good project in it, so your holding in 5 years becomes totally waste of your time. Next time, do a further research before invest and holding to avoid the same mistake.

Dont blame it on holding. I know how you feel. Always learn to know why the coins didn't grow. Might be because of the project itself or maybe the team behind it? You know how market work. You should know the roadmap of the project and it will help you determine the future of the coin.

Well, holding solid projects (which requires research) might be a good strategy. You have to give some of these projects so time to develop right? If you invest in a project that has a roadmap that shows the first significant achievements in a years time, why would you sell within a month?

Imagine if you hold ICX since the ICO when it was $0.11 few months ago, you will be at ×30 profit. ICX is just an example, there are a lot of tokens who made huge uptrend. I just want to say you should hold coins of reputable projects which have big communities, not any coin, if you are unsure, stay with the top marketcap coins, they will grow in everytime the crypto market grow.

If you choose a strong project + the proper entry point it could bring you a very large profit. I think that you need to form a long-term portfolio of coins which are now included in the TOP-10. I don't think HODLing is a bullshit.

You can say Holding is a Bullshit if your coins that you hold is Bullshit, no future, low potential and no improvement. Think before you hold a coin/s, and do a lot of research to find a good and high potential coins/token to hold and invest.
I'm agree with your statement. However you never know what can happen even with "looking good and researched project". With current conditions of crypto assets through regulations and stuff like that you never know what happen tomorrow

We have several coins that we plan to hold (HODL) long term like ADA, XRP, BTC, LTC, BCC (BCH), DASH, NEM, NEO and XLM. Other coins we buy and sell back into BTC trying to grow our BTC amount. My advice - dont sell too quickly. Wait for a week or two for the coin to swing up, as the market goes in swings

Holding is not Bullshit at all, it all depends on the coins you chose to hold, most coins might not survive for long as they have poor project layout, holding such coins will come to no good at all as they might fail and fade in the long run, hold the right coin and you stand a chance to reap big

In my opinion holding is the best strategy if you are not good at analysis. And it is important to buy a coin on deep side and early times. If you buy a coin when it break its ATH it is risky. Also it is better to take profit and hodl 50% of your portfolio.
