it depends on what kind of coin you hold. do not choose coins that have no good long-term prospects, you should read the roadmap, whitepaper and all things related to the coin. holding becomes bullshit when you think its works to all coins, because the reality is not like that. do not rush to pick coins for long-term investments, good luck!

Holding bullshit - this will be bullshit. Choose really good coins and see what will happen to their price in three years. Forgive me, but no shit in three years will not be sweet. Therefore, choose more carefully coins for the holding and you will be happy.

I have only been here a year and already twice has holding shown me to be the savior. But I will not say that this is foolproof. I threw away quite a lot of coins last year and happy I did, because I took others in their place that did better, while some I used to own no longer are listed anywhere. There will be shit in three years that will not be sweet,,, this is the year a lot of that shit will show themselves.

i'm holding all the coins i mined, some of them are worth zero now and the projects are dead. this is something that can happen but the other coins that went up compensated the loss for sure. i can only say holding was the right decision in my case.

To insure yourself against losses or non-receipt of profits, you need to hold several coins. You did the right thing, the average market grew very well.

holding forever is definitely a bull shit we cant say whether we end up holding and holding for long term we can hodl for few months and wait for profit to sell the coin in pumping time in spite most member hodl for long time and they loose

No it is not useless or something like that. Holding is realky a good thing to do to s cryptocurrency because modt of the cryptos are naturally volatile so dumps are always expected or has the chance to take place which would make it hard for a crypto to grow in all aspects. Also, it would be based on the capabilities of a ceetain crypto whether it will be worth holding for years or not and in your case I think it didn't work. This time invest to those cryptos who already have large communities just like Bitcoin and etherium to see progress for every year.

The funny thing is that you can sell today and moon tomorrow.  But I can't hold a coin for that long anyway.  Most times its good to sell asap but but other times hold..
