RIP GPU mining. Next hashing algos will be quihash ans ethash? It's seems that asic manufacturers want to fck up market really hard as it was with X11 miners
I don't think that there'd be much point doing this with ethhash. Ethereum would simply hard fork and the daggerhashimoto coins with no active community would simple be destroyed and desisted from exchanges eventually. Perhaps it'd only make sense keeping a few ASIC units for private use but then it'd be harder to cover the cost of development without blowing up the network difficulty. Perhaps this might have also happened with Monero though. Just look at the massive jump in difficulty starting this year: https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/monero-difficulty.htmlIf those miner specs are real it could have just been a few ASICs. This massive diff increase was mainly caused by large botnets like coinhive, javascript miners, botnets of compromised servers/cpu instances and other shit. They are cotntols almost 70% of monero network. Every month we see news about new large botnets. Just FYI: 10K units Baikal Giant N it's just 200Mh on cryptonight.

Monero POW is changing to CryptoNightV7 in about 15 days, so I don't think you can sell this as a monero miner.. Just saying

60W and three 6pin connectors? Why? Strange...
Probably 3 boards.

Just like fellow miner pointed out, Monero POW is changing to CryptoNightV7 in about 15 days, will you update the algo to support Monero as you are advertising it as Monero miner too. Thanks.

So ... an Radeon HD 7990 which can do about 1.1KH needs 375W. This little wonderdivice can do 20KH with only 60W? So it is 125 times more efficient then one of the best GPU's? Interesting ... very intersting

I want to buy but considering below factors:- It only mine cryptonight and a dangerous precedent was set by Bitmain followed by Halong miner And we remember what happened with X11 when Bitmain unleashed almost double capacity miner followed by Innosillicon For buying argument: I tell myself to buy with hope that Bitmain etc won't launch more powerful miner For not buying argument: - Its only 2 algorithms (effectively one as only AEON is on second algorithm)
- 20Kh is huge hash rate and currently shown earnings are expected reduce by 50% atleast.
- It does not support 5 to 7 algorithms like its always with Baikal , take example of Giant B, after mega miner release of Decred by Halong its only gonna profitable to mine coins such as Lbry on Giant B
So if Baikal announce it will add more algorithms in this device then i could consider buying, yet i am confused and not taken a final decision.
Thanks

That's a terrible efficiency for Cryptonight. I can get ~1.4KH from my desktop while only using ~200W, and even that's average at best.

IPBC is going to fork also and i suppose must of the other cryptonight coins will do the same.

Well with the laptop power supply probably not Sumo is not changin algo, isn't it? Monero will in few days, but no one told it to Baikals until today

There is no change of algo planned, since there is no need for it (there is no ASIC for cryptonotes). Anyway ... if there will be one someday, an change of algo won't be hard to implement.

They deliver, they resell a lot of Baikal miners, but they are not too much reliable, especially bad communications if something defective in warranty.
