of course, those projects that were in 2016 and 2017 are very different from those that are in 2018. the biggest difference is that back then the project was quite small and that people were investing their funds needed to prepare an almost perfect project with 99% confidence that it would work. now there are a lot of different projects on the market, most of which are very weak.
2018 is really a bleak year for the Crypto market, the market is always down, many have abandoned the market, because they are bubbling, fraud. Thus, the market continues to fall deeply. Personally, I'm still patient with Crypto, we can hold them for a long time. We will succeed if we have enough patience.

On some coins, the price flies up several times, then falls to the price of the sale of ICO and in a few months exceeds the surge after the release of coins to the market.

I have observed similar patterns with many of the coins but you will also find some that will immediately be priced at 5 or even 10 times greater than at ICO so the rewards for finding those coins will far outweigh the possible 20 or 30% savings you may make from purchasing a coin after it has completed ICO. On a falling coin perhaps you can take the opportunity to purchase further and reduce your overall cost average.

One thing to note is that you won't get any bonses purchasing after ICO

I think  it depends on the entire market movement, when we are in bearish season, we can barely see a coin that will pump.
What I see now that has risen a lot is the PundiX, I know its bearish so we cannot expect our investment to grow easily, investing requires timing as well.

Expect the ICO tokens to have a dip in price during the first few months of their launch. It is because of the bounty participants that the price fall because there are many people who do bounty programs to promote the ICO and then when the tokens/coins are launched in the exchanges, the people dump it to get BTC/ETH in return for it.

It is a fact that in 2018 most of the ICO are unprofitable, approximately 76 percent. Even Te-food did not bring profit to their investors. The rest generally went, well, if you return the money.

I have found that all the ICOs i have invested in have launched at almost the ICO price but in a few days dipped below the ICO prices by half or 5X for some.

I've noticed the same thing. Usually this dip happens due to poor marketing of the coin.
I've recently participated in a rather promising project which though didn't manage to keep their coin from falling - oh how many rude words were there in their Telegram group  Undecided
By the way, this project paid bounty rewards in ETH as per fixed price of the coin, so the participants of its bounty were satisfied.

this is my own opinion but it may help others.

I have found that all the ICOs i have invested in have launched at almost the ICO price but in a few days dipped below the ICO prices by half or 5X for some.

With this i have discovered its better not to invest in an ICO but wait for the launch and the DIP to buy it at the corrected prices made by market forces.
Its just too hard to tell the real or recommended value of a token in an ICO these days.

Hope this helps to the new investors thinking of ICOs

Of course it's not the same as the last year, every ICOs are different in their way, but there's also similarity between them, at least for the great ICOs, they're really working hard (developer, manager, bounty hunters) so that their ICO will become huge and reach the hardcap

Yes, this has a lot to do with the market environment. 2017 is a booming stage, and 2018 is now adjusting.

According to this, I think that by 2017 almost all projects in which I participate provide good benefits. Now, fraud is also everywhere that can make some investors afraid to invest their money in ICO. In fact, investing in a legitimate and trusted ICO will really make us gain a double gain. we must invest too cautiously because too many projects look good changed in fraudulent projects.

Unless there is a tremendous hype about a coin or that the developers have already done most of the work the truth is that most new coins will be sometime below ico price, that is a good opportunity to get some coins at a very good price since you can get the coins at incredible rates, just make sure that you buy into good projects because if you do not you may buy a coin that never recovers.

Eternal trust will be the world’s first blockchain platform for the pending acquisition of goods or services that aren’t yet available, including cloning or the restoration of the human neural network after cryonic preservation – whenever this becomes available both legally and ethically. To ensure this, Eternal Trusts (ET) creates discretionary purpose trusts for their clients, as well as legal structures protecting its clients’ assets.

It sounds logic, but how do you know actually when that dip will take place for particular coin and its project?

the market has become attentive and in places distrustful, since many companies do not use teams with professionals

I also experience that, some coins promise the first time the coin gets into the trading site will be the price of ico, within seconds of decreasing dratis, lol
All just nonsense. No profit, no loss I get. Probably will be a student for yourself.

This view of yours has been what amazes for a while now, especially since the beginning of 2018. It has been a serious rough journey for us all. Even for project planners/launchers, have tried times without number to control this so it won't affect their prices at ICO the moment they get listed on exchanges, but none has been to  no avail.

We must understand the fact that any project's team most times have little to do with price influencing once they get listed. The real influence rests mainly with those that have both into their project.

The cuasee of all this dip is the bounty hunters that dump their token once it is listed on an exchange. To me that makes no sense, if they value the time invested in earning those coin I see no reason one should sell below the ICO price.
