Sadly... there has been no official support with this fix... how it will work... when will we know it is working... nothing... the silence from TAG HQ is deafening... sure I know we are all big boys and don't need our hands held all the time... but some official confirmation that the fix has been deployed... is working as expected... an ETA of when the fix has proved to be successful would have been nice... right now we are mining in the dark... not very confidence inspiring.
So if you are not willing to lose a day or two of mining effort... stay away from TAG until the fix confirmed... hopefully in the next 48 hours we will know whether TAG is has fixed or not.
As the situation currently stands... there are still 3 forks running as far I know of... TAGMining, Botpool, TAG.cryptopool on a fork, Hashfaster on another fork, and tag.scryptomining on yet another fork... and no one knows which is the correct fork.

It does appear the dev has lost interest in TAG, and that there are 2 blockchains currently. What a mess.... |

Move to a pool on the correct new fork if you actually want to earn some coin. I'm not sure which pools are on the correct fork but I know that tagmining.com has not had a single orphan since the fix came in so I guess it's safe to assume they are on the correct chain.
