The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Congratulations GoldCoin and the GoldCoin community! Great job! You also freed up the top Weekly User Votes position for us at Sterlingcoin. So, thank you very much, indeed! Again, congrats for getting onto Cryptopia and also, for having a very strong community.

It's extremely interesting how Crytopia was able to compile the daemon in just a few minutes without assistance, while c-cex was unable to do so after 2 days of assistance from our developer. You can learn a lot about exchanges by these sorts of observations.

Does Wallet mining work with GLD and how does it work if it does work? I ran it over night and it seems like nothing happened, but when I check the generated blocks every once in a while it says 'Last received block was generated X seconds ago'. And it says 'mining at 0 hashes per second'.
Edit: I just got it up to 2000 hashes per second. So it might work now.

Good luck! You will probably needs an ASIC to find a block!

There are more people selling than there are buying @ Cryptsy. When that happens, the price goes lower. The price on Cryptopia is much higher! Currently 1440 Satoshis https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange

More people have to share the news about GLD being on the exchange. Since right now it is mainly just people mining who know about it, they will go there to sell coins. If more people learn about Cryptopia accepting GLD who don't have any, then they will start buying them and the price will go up.

However, I think it's good the price is low since it let's others invest for cheap prices.

Hi. It assumed there any change in this coin (total 123 million coins in the system and clean POW), or it will remain a ordinary coin with sonorous name?

All the information needed should be in the OP of this thread. There are no plans to change the coin inflation rules at this time.

All the information needed should be in the OP of this thread. There are no plans to change the coin inflation rules at this time. 2.0 minute block targets
Block rewards in order: Blocks 1 – 200 = 10,000 GLD Blocks 201 – 2,200 = 1,000 GLD Blocks 2,201 – 44,999 = 500 GLD Starting Block 45,000 rewards drops to 45 GLD Reward is then reduced each year using the following formula: 50 divided by (1.1 + 0.49*every year thereafter)
so 30*24*365=262,800 blocks per year block rewards 31.44654088 2015-2016 24.03846154 2016-2017 19.45525292 2017-2018 16.33986928 2018-2019 14.08450704 2019-2020 12.37623762 2020-2021 11.03752759 2021-2022 9.960159363 2022-2023 9.074410163 2023-2024 8.333333333 2024-2025 + 41,035,247.57 coins over the next 10 years available supply now is 34,797,100 GLD so it will be approximately 75 million GLD in 2025, is this correct?
