This week I will be refining the "open workforce project" and making it automated with as little centralization as possible. There will be an appointed "paymaster" and positions can be taken or created by any community member. POW will be established by each worker's outpost thread.

Starting this month, I'll begin making a monthly post in this forum to update everyone as to the currency's status from my perspective. But please never forget - this is a "decentralized" currency. I am not the leader; nor am I in charge. I am simply a servant to this community where each member is of equal value and importance.

I am in the process of experimenting with a new format for the Goldcoin Report (a YouTube program) that WILL contain controversial and unusual subject matter. Please do not be concerned by any of the topics presented. The show is for entertainment purposes only and simply a vehicle for promoting GoldCoin.

There have been many new exciting developments for Goldcoin over the past few months. We have secured a listing on a new exchange, introduced the Open Workforce Project™, and coming soon to Amazon will be a new Goldcoin book documenting our first rocky year of history. And Akumaburn has indicated recently in the Facebook group that he will soon resume his work on the new java client.

If anyone has any comments, concerns, or suggestions, please post them below and I will reply as my time allows.

There are some BIG investors looking into the altcoin space at the moment. I have this on good authority.

And these guys are looking to 'invest in' (buy coins on open market) operations that are organized, efficient, and have communities that are loyal, intelligent, and active. It won't take much tweaking to make Goldcoin attractive to these individuals. So let's get serious and make this currency a desirable and legitimate contender in that great Altcoin race.

Let's make it our goal right now to get GLD into the top 25 this year, and improve our ranking to top-10 status during 2016!

If you want to buy a big amount of Goldcoins then it is better to buy it on https://www.gldtalk.org/ from a trusted member, just make a post on the Forum and somebody will take care  , If you want to buy a

while i don't speak in anyway on behalf of the goldcoin community, i certainly wouldn't advise anyone to use cryptsy at this point in time (use search engine on this forum to see why).

i myself had extreme difficulty in getting my goldcoin of cryptsy, and personally think use with extreme caution.

while i don't endorse any exchange and think its wise to never store your coins on any, cryptopia (see op) also trades goldcoin, and i've had no issues purchasing and withdrawing goldcoin from them.

Goldcoin should have a gold inspired wallet theme. I don't download many wallets, but compared to paycon the goldcoin wallet is extremly boring. But goldcoin synced fast. It only took a few houres to sync from a fresh download.

Our developer is just finishing up the 'mother of all wallets'. It's a built from scratch java client what blows Bitcoin's client out of the water!
