Citizen Dogs, didn't I tell you [in 2013] the Bitcoin foundation was identical to the federal reserve board and they can change the Bitcoin protocol [including the 21 million hard limit] without consensus and approvals and because mining is controlled by 1-2 pools, enactment would be easy?

Well, it was PRINTED as a risk in the ETF application and now here you have the first real world example, proving I was right again and Andreas the shill, who said this could never happen, was wrong yet AGAIN.

Well look at that, I predicted this Bitcoin dictatorship in 2013, and even provided hard evidence and was still called crazy.

Apparently the Bitcoin foundation can do anything they want to Bitcoin.  This includes changing the protocol itself and adding more coins.

Lol, I've long said nothing about Bitcoin is set in stone, especially not the 21 million coins Roger Ver keeps parroting, and as most here know, these guys running the foundation have their own agenda, and it's mostly profit based, and they have met with pretty much very government agency including the spooks.

So I expect a sweet surprise coup, a betrayal by this foundation which could be the spark which gives rise to a new bigger CryptoCoin.

just that its the only coin the masses are barely aware of.

im about 30% in BTC which is still a lot for me. 30% alts & 40% 'other'

i would not feel comfortable dumping BTC for a lesser known 'same thing' just cheaper.

or am i thinking about it wrong?

No you're right but there are whales that are 99% or even 100% in Bitcoin only.

If they see it might be controlled by the govt or banks or a single guy, like Gavin, then that should cause some to at least take a small portion, like 10% of their Bitcoins and invest it in other alts.  At least that's what I would do.

I don't know.  There is still huge dumping but at least someone is fighting all the dumps.  Every time someone tries to push the price down someone else comes on with huge buy orders. 

It could be one guy or 10 but not really want I would consider a pre-rally behavior.  But anything is possible with this coin.  But until we get real material news I don't see much happening.

I hope you're right.  A lot of alts are pumping hard with no news and no hype.  I've never seen anything quite like it.  Hopefully this broad alt-coin rally will spread to other alts which will also include iXCoin.

Personally I would prefer to have 2-3 more months to buy back my coins but I've been saying that for a long time so I'll take a massive rally now.  lol

The COIN ETF aside, Wall Street [via HFT - High Frequecy Trading] will soon help create masive volatility and a massive run in price of Bitcoin [and crypto].



An interesting excerpt from ZeroHedge which is in-line with my prediction:


As WSJ reports, some of the U.S.’s biggest proprietary HFT traders say they see potential for big profits in trading bitcoin. Translation: unprecedented volatility, which essentially crushed all interest in Bitcoin after its peak in late 2013, is about to come back with a vengeances as such conventional HFT market rigging techniques as frontrunning, momentum ignition, quote stuffing, spoofing, subpennying and everything else in the vacuum tube arsenal is about to be unleashed on the world's geekiest traders. Call it algos trading algos.

Amusingly, the WSJ says that "their involvement could help reduce volatility in the market for bitcoin, which has struggled to gain legitimacy in part because of concerns about wild swings in its price." Uhm, no: the arrival of HFT in any asset class merely assures that volatility surges to the moon, especially when it is an asset that trades without explicit central bank backing such as stocks, or FX.

EDIT:  The fact Russia just came out of the closet means Bitcoin is ready to move to the next stage of mass adoption.  The east got their pound of flesh and are ready.  Things should get incredibly interesting later this year and especially next year.
