I had about 12GH/s mining for me.  I figured it would be cool to have a place to store my btc and just reinvest.  But now the price per GH/s is dropping really hard.  If I sell out now I will lose out.  All well I learned my mistake.  There is always a chance of it coming back up again.

there always is but NEVER expect it to go back up to .02 that wont happen. Remember you are not playing bitcoin price but gh price which is always on a downtrend in the long run

I could only get litecoin mining to work by removing the stratum+tcp:// from the line suggested on the ghash.io screen.  So my line looks like this:

Code:
cgminer --scrypt -o ltc.ghash.io:3333 -u minter12345.pc -p 1

And then it works fine.

(using cgminer 3.7.2 for scrypt mining)

Also, can we have the two-factor authentication input field (when you log in) be set as a password input box.  The reason being is that my browser remembers ALL previous 2fa codes I have typed in.  I dont know if its a potential security issue but I do know it is annoying Wink

Litecoin Mining Beta released!

CEX.IO together with GHash.IO introduced an option to mine Litecoins, which is currently in beta.
We invite everyone to connect to our pool and test Litecoin mining with us. If you have any suggestions, please address them to the CEX.IO support team.

I'm having troubles with connecting:

root@xx:~/proj# ./minerd -u xxx -p 123 -t 38 -o stratum+tcp://ltc.ghash.io:3333
[2014-03-13 14:47:00] Starting Stratum on stratum+tcp://ltc.ghash.io:3333
[2014-03-13 14:47:00] 38 miner threads started, using 'scrypt' algorithm.
[2014-03-13 14:47:01] stratum_recv_line failed
[2014-03-13 14:47:01] ...retry after 30 seconds

Sad

One of my rigs get connected, I'm getting:

[2014-03-13 14:47:23] GPU #0: GeForce GTX TITAN, 1964032 hashes, 474.11 khash/s
[2014-03-13 14:47:23] accepted: 117/117 (100.00%), 474.11 khash/s (yay!!!)

Hi, did anyone experience problems connecting to scrypt pools today? E.g. to stratum+tcp://ftc.ghash.io:3333 or stratum+tcp://ltc.ghash.io:3333

Thank You, BakSAj

Thank You, BakSAj

when i first added the ltc pool to cgminer it showed as dead. i left it added to cgminer as a failover pool and then cam back and checked several minutes later and it was alive. i switched to it and haven't had a problem since.

DOGECOIN: D6MTLa1aMNHiuSv776FX28RezvhDVPHxFg much wow and thank you

There is a zero chance of the price going back up to your pre-loss level.

But there is a 100% chance of you raiding your mother's purse.

You can only buy FHA before April 26.
It will not mine until this date.
On April 26 it will be transformed to GHS

0.0142 and descending, it will obv not come back; I sold at 0.04+ 2months ago

FHM are half the price of FHA which means it is a good buy comparatively if you will mine more than half what you will mine with your Ghs that you get April 26

The projected price of Ghs is now clearly written : 0.008 April 26 (FHA) and 0.004 May 26 (FHA), will a Ghs now mine 0.0142-0.008=0.0062 before April 26? That seems like "a lot"
