Well something has changed the price per gh/s has drooped down to 10% (was at 20%)  over what the FMA is offering, funny how it lasted all the way up but less then 2 weeks out. So everyone that has bought and held the FMA just wasted there profit that gh/s could had mined for while we all wait on 26 April.

Question: In regards to lowering the maintenance fee, how is it that on your maintenance page the mining profit % went up, to my understanding that's the % we pay you for hosting/power/upkeep the gh/s. It was at 19.6% and now its 26.1% am i wrong in assuming that's 26% btc being removed from our mined balance?

https://cex.io/maintenance

PS

I know the fee is set in USD and is converted to btc and when btc/usd goes down the fee should increase but, past few days USD/BTC went up, (over $500) shouldn't the fee be even lower now?

***UPDATE ***

seems old cexy removed their blog post about lowering the fee rate , guess they meant to say we will be RAISING IT!

Instead of lowering to $0.26, it should be increased to 26%.
What the heck, all that was increased was the "hosting", which is not specific.

Yea all the info was on the blog post they said it was at .30$ per gh/s per month or something but they got better contract and better deals with their suppliers and lowered the fee down.  Guess someone changed their minds.

Does anyone out there know how to get cached web sites off Google? Maybe we can find the old blog post.

I tried, if google cached it, it would've been located at http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://blog.cex.io/?p=1616
But it isn't, so that means it didn't get cached.

I used to use CEX a lot but with the trade fees now and the fact that their maintenance fee is almost 20% there is no way you can make a profit even by trying to earn a little from trading.

I agree ... at least for now CEX.io isn't worth the time and effort it takes.

Are you guys serious? It can't be exchanged? What error does it give?
I guess our only option is exchange it to LTC and send it to another exchange...

Just withdrawn LTC with no issue but ghash.io multipool is still down for me, at least the stats and payouts. I've emailed ghash support last night and got actual response with 24 hours ETA on a fix. Not sure what to make of it.

Is there a reason why you guys think it is wise to raise fees?
Is there a reason why you guys have no form of increasing mining power per share, instead of locking everyone at a decaying 1ghs?
Is there a reason why I should have to pay maintenance fees when your site goes down? Isn't one of the points of cloud mining to make sure I don't have issues with downtime?

I bought some gh/s here to sort of test it out the other day (along with pb, and b.mine) and this service provides you with nothing.

Other than being well known, I don't see what this service offers anyone, besides a guaranteed loss (unless you scam others buy moving your overpriced gh/s onto them.)

Cex.io why don't you implement something useful, or is it you prefer to scam gh/s holders out of their money?
