People who have been re-using passwords on multiple websites have been getting hacked since it seems like the databases of some other faucets have been compromised or the owner of those faucets decided to use the passwords that they had to compromise freebitco.in accounts. Like I have warned countless times before - Please do not re-use passwords on multiple websites and use a password manager!
If you use the same password on multiple websites, you will get hacked, it is only a matter of when. I have added a protection in the signup and change password functions to force users to create a secure password which should somewhat help in users not re-using their passwords. Login authorization emails which were previously being sent only for users who had a balance > $5 (because a lot of users were marking these emails as spam negatively impacting our email deliverability) has been enabled for all users now.
After a long time it is glad to see you here, wetsuit. Thanks for informing us about the password and security. The email authorizing system during login on your site is good enough to prevent hacker.

Today I had around 22 000 satoshi,~
Suddenly I saw my balance in 0 just after claiming again.
The most likely explanation to that is that you used the same password on another site and your account was hacked as a result. Your balance was below the minimum withdrawal threshold so the hacker probably tried to gamble it up. Check the Multiply BTC tab where you can see the roll history.

Hi. My friend wanted to be my referral, i just created an account for him (id:14340896). He sent the whole 0.012btc he had via slow payment, then he wanted to log in to his new account, when the site asked him to check his email, he accidentally clicked on "permanently delete!!!!"link. He is 2k kilometers away from me, if he was here I'll murder him. Please tell me that you can recover the account for us. His old account: 2619517 New (deleted) account: 14340896 P.S: The transaction completed, he lost his coins because he is a fool ! New(deleted) account's deposit address: https://blockchain.info/address/1FHdE2wDLTXJzi3SwhDVjsgTwpwwEnopyFHi all! This is me and my silly friend. 2 days ago my friend made a bad mistake (quoted) , we had no hope, since the issue was very very bad. But "TheQuin" and "wetsuit" solved our issue and recovered our account for us. This was the best support I've ever seen. Thank you "TheQuin" and "wetsuit" ! God bless you. I am Muslim, I don't know what religion you do have, but I see nothing less than Islam in you.

I use a different password for each faucet, I don't use tons of faucets though, two or three. And it can't be possible that a web that is also used as a wallet had so bad security system so anyone can hack it and steal your money. Keeping your btc in freebitco.in is terribly risky and unsafe. I just warn all of you and I am also warning all my friends to prevent using this faucet. If you want to continue using it, it's up to you. With those safety levels your money will be stolen sooner or later.

I'm guessing you mean full reward? Play Hi-Lo, Jackpots or buy lottery tickets and/or keep a higher balance. If you don't want to gamble just keep a balance above $50 in value.

The safety level it's choosen BY YOU, not by freebtc. Using different passwords on different sites is a good way to improve safety, better if the password is a strong-hard-long-multicharacter or so but this is useless if compared to 2fa! After 2fa is activated the only one that can access to an account is the owner, no one else in the universe, on the other side if the owner looses his phone number AND secretrecover "adios crypto" is the word... Just keep in mind that if you did not take measures to keep your crypto in a safe place the fault is yours, especially if a site gives you all suggestions and "items" to do that and you do not care about.

The stats table is updated once an hour. We have a huge amount of data to manage and that's a lower priority task than keeping the balances updated.
The safety level it's choosen BY YOU, not by freebtc.
Thank you for pointing that out. Other than using the same password on other sites they can also be compromised by logging in on an insecure network or having malware on your device. Often it is just simply that people use weak passwords that are easily guessed. If you don't use 2FA then your email account can be used to gain access so you need to make sure it is as secure as possible as well.

Have you seen the size of the lottery this week? It's up well above 2BTC which is the biggest I've seen for ages - why so high this week?

We put in a restriction on redeeming reward points for free BTC bonus on accounts that don't wager or wager very little. It looks like lots of accounts have redeemed for lottery tickets instead.
