I dont think you get it. He had the pw of your email, not freebitco (unless they were the same which is even worse). When someone hax your email, they know all the sites you visit and can very easily start changing pws everywhere without you getting any notifications. So its not just freebitco where u are going to get screwed.

Watch me rape Freebitco.in 24x7 with my gambling bot (you can to) here: https://dlive.tv/btctrading I also do some trading there as well.

I have been using this site for years well about six weeks ago I decided to deposit some bitcoin in here for the %4 interest not a lot luckily as my account was hacked apparently, I never had an email to confirm address change I was on the site on the 2nd and by the 3rd someone had changed my email address my wallet address and withdrew all btc in less the 24 hours.
Now if that is not a sign of a hack I dont know what is surely the should have some security is it cryptopia or polo where if you change a wallet address you cant withdraw until 48 hours later
The hacker would have needed your password (you used the same on other websites?), then he can change email. After that he receives all new notifications instead of you. If à substantial amount is on your balance, best security way is 2FA. Okay maybe he had my password from somewhere I dont know but surely if he changes email address it has to be confirmed on old email adress Your point is valid but if someone have your password then surely he can do all changes without any problem because may be hacker is using your email address as well then he change all details and withdraw amount from site because without confirmation its very hard for any one to make changes on account

If à substantial amount is on your balance, best security way is 2FA. Okay maybe he had my password from somewhere I dont know but surely if he changes email address it has to be confirmed on old email adress Yes, email confirmation is required from the old email address. If your account didn't have a valid email address we display this warning. If you ignore that and your password is compromised then it is possible for a hacker to change the email. We put a warning recently: People who have been re-using passwords on multiple websites have been getting hacked since it seems like the databases of some other faucets have been compromised or the owner of those faucets decided to use the passwords that they had to compromise freebitco.in accounts. Like I have warned countless times before - Please do not re-use passwords on multiple websites and use a password manager!
If you use the same password on multiple websites, you will get hacked, it is only a matter of when. I have added a protection in the signup and change password functions to force users to create a secure password which should somewhat help in users not re-using their passwords. Login authorization emails which were previously being sent only for users who had a balance > $5 (because a lot of users were marking these emails as spam negatively impacting our email deliverability) has been enabled for all users now.

It is a calculation based on your balance and wagering versus how much you take from free rolls.

Hello guys, well, opening this thread just to warn all of you and highly recommend you to stop using freebitco.in faucet and wallet. Today I had around 22 000 satoshi, I was using the faucet, the free btc roll option, because I didn't use any other option like bets or that stuff (it's just a waste of money).
Suddenly I saw my balance in 0 just after claiming again.
I've just sent a ticket requesting an explanation. I am waiting for it, I hope I can get an answer in the next days. However, it doesn't smell good. So I warn all of you who are using this faucet, to stop using it!
Fortunately it was not a high amount, but if you have enough balance to withdraw, or more (I got a friend who has around 0.1 btc), withdraw now! and do not return to this web because your btc may just disappear with no reason.
I hope it was just a bug or glitch. But a whole balance that suddenly disappear is not a bug, it might be a pretty bad security issue. So please take this advice and avoid losing your money.
Well seems that THIS is happenning to many other people. Nice thing that OP is steping out of any responsability. Apart roll rewards are dropping more and more, bonuses that you never see, captchas that don't work, there it is this absolutely poor security. And of course, it will never be OP's fault, isn't it OP? I add the ineffective support service, it's been more than one week ago that I sent a ticket and never got answered. It may had good times in the past but now it's getting terribly insecure. And I remind you of the fact that this one is not just a really low rewards faucet, it's a highly unsafe wallet too. So people if you really value your money leave this faucet as soon as possible and tell others what is happening.

You failed to secure your own account. Your password was compromised and you did not have 2FA enabled.

If you attempt to take more than you give us, we're not going to acknowledge you as a real person and thus display the Requirements message. And we may even ban you until you pay us to unban you so that you can continue to pay us what we're owed, which is everything you own. And once you stop paying us when you're out of btc, we're going to ban you again because you're no longer of any use to us. We're a ponzi scheme running under the guise of a casino, not a retirement fund. *Fixed.* You could at least make it simple for the simpletons to understand. it's a highly unsafe wallet too.
As much as I DISLIKE freebitco and company, I dislike liars even more, they have done a decent job securing user's BTC into their own wallets such that no one can withdraw them to any BTC address other than whats listed in the profile without first getting email consent from the user. That part of the site does actually work very well. It's one of the few things that does work well. So the fact that you lost anything just goes to prove that it's your email that was hacked, not the freebitco account/wallet. It's one of the reasons why I can distribute a bot that asks for a person's U/P and not be afraid of idiots claiming I stole their BTC. Because even with that u/p, I couldnt steal anything. So if your email pw is the same as your freebitco pw, you deserve to lose everything you had anyway. If your email pw is insecure and some hacker then discovers you use freebitco and changes your freebitco pw, email, etc and then sends themselves BTC, well then they deserve it for a job well done. That would take some good sleuthing and a lot of effort for just 1 account with probably no BTC of any consequence in it anyway. Bottom line, when you lose BTC, you lose it because you lost it due to your own stupidity. Not because it was someone elses fault. You're the bank now, not anyone else. You lose something, you bite the bullet and move on.

people need to secure their account with unique password and should also enable 2fa to secure their account. if they fail to do so then the account can be compromised and btc balance can be lost

They must have had your password to login. Email confirmations are required to change email or withdrawal address.

That's where your fairness, which you write to play games, increases your free throw. In fact, you're just thieves,as proof of this, I had a 33% bonus. ******** % roll 32 and now I have a bonus of 29.6763% and roll 19 BTC.
The % towards the next bonus goes up when you wager and down when you take a free roll.

TheQuin, has the slow transaction fee been raised? It's been at 200 satoshis for hours and there's less than 1k unconfirmed trx on the blockchain.

Not that I know of, I've asked wetsuit to let me know for sure. The last slow withdrawal we processed was sent with a fee of 5 sat/byte which would make that about right. https://btc.com/ec33f7bcabc4bbfd76e1aa5127b8c07c4c507bf69f8c1f11a211bd3cb76a6a49I think it's just the way the fee estimator works in Core.
