hi :3 i was the one who did it. funny thing i reported stuffs to freebitcoin previously and they ignored it. actually multiple people knew the exploits and was also reported. i waited time to do this and wonder if they still care. i guess not? if you wonder where is the money of those people, i gambled it for those people and blew it all up. its also funny to see people are depositing on a website that has very high house edge. there are alternatives that you can use that has better edge + better support that actually cares for the people.

No way you orchestrated such a high-profile heist like this just to send a message about FBC's house edge. What's the motivation, really?
i just hate fbc. this wouldnt happen if they actually care for the customers. the website is filled with xss exploits and they know it but they just didnt fix it.

How long would you say the XSS vulnerability was in the site for? Crazy to think it was there all this time until you exploited it proper.

Interesting. So what critical information could you parse with this xss exploit from the victim's FBC account that you could use for monetary gain? Besides, y'know, scaring them shitless with a message telling them to transfer half a BTC or else.

I'm actually pretty impressed they saw through that bullshit message, by the way. Tracked down the malicious js and blocked it, even. How much BTC did you steal with the address switcheroo?

i can setup a convincing login page or a verification page but there is no point, if i cant access their email since email requires additional securities these days. the scare message was my desperate attempt to get my final btc because i got into a debt problem after gambling other users money and decided to deposit my own money and borrowed some after losing it all.
i stole 1.3-1.4 in total. Zibi321 could have gotten 9btc in return from my gambling session since i felt bad for him but he decided to lie and ghost me. His money is still on fbc and if only fbc is kind enough to give it back since i spent his balance there.

Lie and ghost you? C'mon. He played you like a damn fiddle from where I'm standing. He says he withdrew his entire balance. Finessed you and got away! And don't get me started on the embarrassing reminder emails you sent him a bunch of times. You didn't have to tell me you were desperate, I could hear your knees clanking all the way out here. Is this your first time heisting?

But anyway, wouldn't you have it in your heart to return the stolen BTC, or are you gonna settle your debts with them?

OK, i can agree about the support levels on their side is disaster, but it is not right to make other people suffer because of it.
I don't believe that you gambled it all away, but have it somewhere in your own wallet, so I kindly ask if you can find a piece of heart in you and return the ill-gained proceeds.

And if you did you waste it on FBC, then I ask FBC to consider returning the funds to the deceived customers, otherwise these customers will be only a part of their history.

No? You didnt read properly? Alot of exploits was there FOR LONG and THEY KNOW SOME exists but DIDNT fix it. There has been numerous attempt to contact them. The time will eventually come that someone will exploit it for their own good if i didnt do it. FBC has the responsibility to protect users and they must give it back using their own money. If you decided to blind about your website security issues, then suffer the consequence. I didnt feel bad for them. FBC profits alot from their unfair system. Dont tell me they cant pay 1btc+ refunds, that just a pure greed. these people that i saw lost 0-10btcs in fbc, they have the funds to restore it.

Note: Last known reports was around 2017-2018. Guess if it was fixed or not.

You mentioned you and a number of other people knew of those exploits. How did you relay those concerns to the team to begin with? How did you know the team DID see these reports?

Now that you mention the last known report, and seeing this fiasco go down like this, I'm not feeling confident anymore having funds in this platform with the dumbest security vulnerabilities going unpatched like this.

Contact Form and their email. In my knowledge, none of them has any replies or feedback. There is no way they didnt see it because i managed to log them long ago if they see it or not, they did saw it and didnt give a single care.

He stole a whole $250 AUD from me. Well played sir, I didn't pick this up as I was doing it on my mobile, if I was on my pc i would've been safe.

I reported the cash website link to go daddy so they removed that quite quickly the malicious js.

I was scammed for over 4k US$.
How this vulnerability was allowed by freebitco.in ?
Obviously it was targeted to the high-rollers and the accounts which were in the top-10 daily rolls.

Is anyone from Freebitco.in going to do ANYTHING about this?   Will they take any responsibility and credit back to the scammed users to give back the confidence in the site, or will they just let it slide under the carpet allow a ton of other people get scammed as well.

DISSAPOINTED !!!!!   LOST CONFIDENCE in this site !!!!!  Support level = ZERO !!!

-snip-
It's just marketing word.

Using an item name, and mostly the prize are sent by (money in crypto). Do you want to take a lot of procedures by sending a real things stuff to your undress and you need to wait until 6-12 months from a different sector of paper
- Law
- The item
- Shipping
- Tax
- Etc.

Meanwhile, send the prize via balance/crypto are more easily rather than send item-stuff.
Yes, what you say makes sense. It will be too much paperwork and trouble to get the car shipped in your location and I just checked every 9 rounds and hands down, taking $200K worth of Bitcoins is absolutely the best idea for anyone. Previous owner took 7.4 Bitcoins instead of Lambo that costs around $200 000. That competition was just 180 days ago. Today his coins worth $500K, more than double of Lamborghini's cost. Now he can have two Lamborghini instead of just one. Taking of Bitcoin is definitely the best choice but to be honest, I would really love to see a video of someone getting a Lamborghini from freebitco, that would be really cool. It's just my personal wish.

I checked this on different clean device which was never used for fbc (different OS, different browser, different DNS servers) and still my session was somehow hijacked.
It's also possible that my router is compromised but it's highly unlikely.
From my point of view.. I know it's hard to believe and even I have doubts, but it looks like fbc had some security breach or some 3rd party service they were using. Attackers were targeting only some small group of users (including me) and they managed do inject malicious script only for some accounts.
For a week or so I was also getting notifications about change in deposit address (change to P2SH segwit addresses started with 3...), but I ignored that because I didn't plan to make deposits.
Everything was looking legitimate. This message was looking exactly the same as any other notification on fbc site. Same fonts, same colors, etc.

Now everything works as usual, so I guess I will never know what happened.

I don't know much about this kinda thing but from what I know about friends in IT, we have a lot of customers who send us client emails like this, it's always clients.

Server side issues usually very difficult to target specific clients from server, and I'm a user like you, very active, very old, and using a lot of features to earn interest etc. I never once got this kind of issue.

I did however get funds withdrawed a few years ago (and somehow never got the confirmation email) but since I did 2FA, nothing ever happened.

If you using on new device and everything works as usual... it kinda confirms the theory your device/software got infected. Glad your funds are safe mate!

@FelErYun Show us a screencast of this exploit. Otherwise I say fake. And the reports you sent, why not publish them here (without the details) or on forum thread. FBC will quickly see it.

No, it started to work when I blocked the malicious script injected into my account session.
It also worked when I unblocked the script, but its code was already changed to target another user.
No matter on what device/software.  I had also 2FA enabled.

He stole a whole $250 AUD from me. Well played sir, I didn't pick this up as I was doing it on my mobile, if I was on my pc i would've been safe.

I reported the cash website link to go daddy so they removed that quite quickly the malicious js.

At present script is removed from external source, but it could also be done by attacker himself just to cover his tracks.
For now his method is burnt, but he can try again once the dust has settled.
New script, new link to malware etc.
When logged, I still have link to malicious script side-loaded into html source of a main fbc page.
It's blocked from executing, but it's still there.

Be careful guys.
Customer service is almost impossible to reach, so if you ended up with an issue, you're mostly on your own.
We don't know the real scale of this attack, because majority of fbc user don't even know about existence of this forum.

hi :3 i was the one who did it. funny thing i reported stuffs to freebitcoin previously and they ignored it. actually multiple people knew the exploits and was also reported. i waited time to do this and wonder if they still care. i guess not? if you wonder where is the money of those people, i gambled it for those people and blew it all up. its also funny to see people are depositing on a website that has very high house edge. there are alternatives that you can use that has better edge + better support that actually cares for the people.

So you hate FBC due to their support and house margins?  And you decided to get even with them by stealing innocent people's money?

Now that you mention the last known report, and seeing this fiasco go down like this, I'm not feeling confident anymore having funds in this platform with dumbest security vulnerabilities unpatched like this.
Contact Form and their email. In my knowledge, none of them has any replies or feedback. There is no way they didnt see it because i managed to log them long ago if they see it or not, they did saw it and didnt give a single care.

Hi FelErYun, if I understood correctly, you are the one who stole my money.

I was unlucky to create a new address just at that time, I'm not a big player, my income is limited.
Please, could you return me 0.01709019 BTC that went to the address 3Ps8Z7eZBdsJKd3VufP4Ycn5s42XGHvvkU

You can send them to my address on FBC:
1QL7UfwipjhmhTieFb9fwXViJuVXjpGZ6i

Thank you so much,
Greetings

OK, so you confused me, you previously said that you are the one who took the money and that you gambled it all away.
Now you are saying that someone else would exploit it if you didn't do it.  So, basically you are again saying that you did it.

Please return my 0.06768042 BTC to this address:   1AXbfcsNicqddsBfo5REmXnAPnikDLmYox

I am furious at FBC, and I believe as a community we need to put the pressure all of us to them so that they can
1) return the scammed people's money
2) significantly improve their customer support
3) improve their security
