There are fewer and fewer real Iso projects now. Everything is more fraud. It is a pity, but many suffered.

It is necessary to separate SCAM and unsuccessful project. These are two different things, but they are united in one word by SCAM. YES agree that scammers more and more. But now more attention is paid to the choice ICO.

I agree with you on that one. It's not the same thing and I think that people tend to bundle them together so the percentage gets high.

Agree with the statement, 80% ICOs are scam, so be careful when you invest money into ICO, another thing, see the rating, read the team details and check whitepaper, talk to your friends, post in this forum, if u have any doubt.

the statement may well be true. many of the ICO that can be achieved and it gives real results. It is indeed a scam is also quite a lot but not as much as the thought. I guess it's just a coincidence only. ICO that there always needs analysis before joining in anticipation of the scam. look at the team and the whitepaper is the thing to do.

it is not fair if ICO is generalized as a dangerous thing and it's all SCAM, I do not agree. there are still many successful and able ICOs registered in various exchanges.
there are several ways to choose a good ico, and all the information is here.
so, stop saying bad, be wiser and always provide solutions for others this is another way to develop crypto to grow trust.

I think most ICOs are dangerous. Only somewhat more hazard. All undertakings don't generally serve life, are thoughts for the future so can't evade disappointment. Numerous ventures with the aim of trick from the earliest starting point are unavoidable to less proficient financial specialists. In this way, it is important to develop learning before contributing.

I think for those people who follow the projects this figure should not cause much surprise, you can often hear 99% and here is a very truthful figure. Only those who lead the data forget that this is the primary attraction of money, and the analysis should not be for the first half of the year but for the first 2 years.
a lot of projects where I participated was a bench, now even better select projects

not at all icos is scam, ico scam and fail is different, when ico fail you still get the tokens just the price is very less/ shit tokens, but scam you never get the tokens, so you have to be careful when choosing ico project before invest

Most of the ICO appear to be scam, and a mechanism should be issued to check ICO for quality and non-fraud ICO. ICO that do not get enough target need to continue announce time to raise funds and pay for bounty campaign.

Saw this study on twitter... https://twitter.com/Zeex_me/status/978981735101878272

I've seen a lot of people asking about how many legit ICOs there are, so I thought I'd share

Quote from the article: "The study begins by breaking down ICOs into 6 groups: Scam, Failed, Gone Dead, Dwindling, Promising, Successful. “On the basis of the above classification,” they wrote, “we found that approximately 81% of ICO’s were Scams, ~6% Failed, ~5% had Gone Dead, and ~8% went on to trade on a exchange.”

"Scams were defined by researchers as “Any project that expressed availability of [an] ICO investment (through a website publishing, ANN thread, or social media posting with a contribution address), did not have/had no intention of fulfilling project development duties with the funds, and/or was deemed by the community (message boards, website or other online information) to be a scam.”

DYOR people ...
crypto world is full of that kind of stuff, i'd say it' soo easy to cheat for them as they are quite convincing with their information and sites and promises

How many legal ICOs, this is basically a fraud for me, I am a hype, they are very troubled by the cryptocurrency market, disrupting the cryptocurrency market, maybe only 10% of ICO is safe, so if You don't have a lot of trading experience market experience, I suggest you not take this risk

Again. Any control system is a corrupt cell. Therefore, this system should either be automatic and built on the blockchain system. Either should be established a system of voting.

I think about 90-95% of scams and there are more and more of them. But there are also good projects that can grow into really large companies.

in recent years, more and more Scam, because everything remains unpunished. And ICO began to spend a very long time from 3 months to one or more years. Thus, people who have invested money should wait a year, and how much can happen this year, bitcoin can cost 1K dollars and less. Now it is not very profitable to invest.

As for me, in 2018, too many people have learned that it is possible to earn money by deceiving people at ICO. Perhaps even many have arranged advertisements on YouTube, to attract people to this forum to participate in the bounty. Many people - a lot of SCAM. The advertisement is engine of the trade

Yes, now it is very risky to invest in ICO.  I advise before investing to check all information about the company.
