I just stop looking at bitcoin price. It hurts me actually, that's why I took this decision. I am holding few of BTC and I will not look at my wallets too for 2 months. I hope after 2 months when I will go to see bitcoin price, maybe I will scream happily. What about you guys? 

I think this is a good time to invest in bitcoin. I often see the price of bitcoin every hour. Because I'm a short-term investor. I do not care when the bitcoin price is low. Only long-term investors fear the price of bitcoin is low

Long term investors should not check bitcoin prices frequently because:

1) Seeing drops in prices may raise doubt in mind. Some people may finally sell in loss thus losing money instead of making profit with bitcoins.

2) A lot of time is wasted in the process as well. If you have already decided to hold for 2-3 years, what is the point in checking the bitcoin prices every day or hour. A lot of time is wasted in this. Better use that time to learn about promising alt coins and ICO projects and then invest some money there.

I agree with you.Checking BITCOIN price frequently ,even though you have decided to hold your BITCOIN, is a waste of time.Also if you start doubting you will gradually loose interest and also if you have double thoughts at a time you would not be able to gain much profit.

a good way to avoid panic sales, but if you stop seeing bitcoin, how will you know bitcoin prices? many people predict that bitcoin will recover in June, and 2 months again go to June.

but how if bitcoin only recovers in May and June, and after you check again market, bitcoin prices back down. and that can happen in the crypto world. will you still happy ?

haha. I stopped watching the price of bitcoin since February 2018. Very low price makes me sad every time I watch. I recommend relaxing and waiting three or four months to see the price of bitcoin. Maybe you will be happy

Decent decision! Meantime, You have own perspective, thus none of suggestions wouldn't suit to you. But, I've to say that, History is repeating itself. Doesn't matter, nothing to be worried about at bitcoin price. Stop monitoring all over the day, take a break and trust all will be well.

Yeah I have doing the same thing at the moment, while all crypto prices are down I do not check my portfolio as much. I think it allows you to focus on what work you can do to support the ecosystem and to stop thinking about short term price movements.

why be afraid to see bitcoin with falling prices, why just look at bitcoin when the price is high, I think before you invest you must have understood with all the risks and this one of them

Yeah it's really depressing to know bitcoin price these days. There has not been a good signal for the price to go high. However I guess it's  better to keep watching the price although we don’t like it. At least by keep updating the bitcoin price, we won't miss anything.

The best way not to feel bad during this kind of market situation is just to stop looking or monitoring the price. Uninstall your block folio, stop looking at the coin market cap. Just be patient because everything will recover soon.  Patience always pays off, just keep buying the dip.

yes it also happened to me, i have some bitcoin and eth, and i decided not to see the market price about 3-4 months. and there are only two possibilities that occur, first I am happy because the price rose, or even cry because the price is falling deeper

You should not be upset while the price of bitcoin is decreasing. You should turn to methods such as short-term investment and investment in the day. This will help you earn money and you will not have to worry about the price

Yes,I agree with you mate,stop monotoring the price and just keep your bitcoin in your wallet and come back after two months because there are lot of predictions that by june bitcoin price will  be going up.

If you already have Bitcoin then that is the right thing for long term investment.
Bitcoin prices are currently experiencing a fairly deep decline. Hopefully this is not last long and hope Bitcoin prices will increase again.

Good decision bruh, I really think that that is the best thing that any crypto or bitcoin holder can do at times like these when all the crypto currencies are on a sea of red or as what people often call it -a bearish market. Doing this would really help you control your emotions and prevent you from panic selling due to the big losses you may see every time you look at your portfolios or all crypto investments. Clearly, you know that the prices are bound to rise sooner or later but looking at your investments you will always be tempted to cut losses so great job on being man enough to make the decision.

When I was starting in Bitcoin, I have always been obsessing about the price until such time I grew too engrossed with it that the slightest change can make or break my day. Then I realized it is already unhealthy. When you really think about it, there is nothing much you can do about the price decline or surge. Hence, why keep bugging yourself about it? To ensure you are not left zero? Yes, it makes sense. But you should realign yourself with the fact that you entered a highly volatile market. You signed up for this. Hence, you are expected to make peace with it rather than add it to your already-stressful life. Now, since you have no power to alter the market, change your mindset! That is the only thing you can control anyway. Get busy working onto other projects to earn more rather than merely focusing on one source of income.

People are worrying on what happened in the price of bitcoin but being bitcoin supporter is not good to worry. Your opinion is good but for me there is no such thing happen if we can see always the price of bitcoin maybe we need to be patient and prepared on what will happen accept the reality  that bitcoin price is changeable so, its easy to understand what is happening in the price of bitcoin.

I understand that some of you invested life savings in Bitcoin but you should be aware of the potential risk. Many threads on bitcointalk right now focus only on Bitcoin price which is really bad, especially at the time when Lightning Network is getting more popular. There were even mobile client released lately and still many people ignored that fact and don't know about LN existence.

I have many friends constantly watching the price of bitcoin. I don't understand why they're doing this. They don't trade in the market. I asked them but they do not know why. Everyone copes with stress in their own way. Maybe it helps them. Someone rides a roller coaster, and someone looks like a roller coaster rides bitcoin.

Also same thing is happened with me.I deposit 1.8BTC in two different exchange Bittrex and Yobit before 3months ago.When BTC the started to fall I stop the log in my account because every day my balance is reduced that's why I am very disappointed.BTC is badly falling down but last two months it price was stable within 10K$-12K$ but yesterday BTC is down below 7K$ even have many possibility it will be dump 3K$-4K$ it's not my prediction.
