People you've forgot to buy RVN! Everything in my portfolio went up except RVN. Being listed only in crypto-bridge probably isn't helping much. Although it's a great decentralised exchanged, it's just ONE exchange.

I'm against paying centralised exchanges to get listed though, those funds could better be used for marking and development. If whatever exchange wants to get fees from RVN traders, then let them list it for free.

probably RVN is one of the most stable & profitable coin for mining now (yet).
That`s not a surprise that 90% of miners are dumping it straight away, so unless diff increases i dont expect RVN price grow too much

And why should such a strategy be surprised if the selling rate has been smoothly but surely going down in the last few weeks? And if some of the particularly persistent miners did not sell the extracted coins, then seeing a fall below 400 satoshi rush to sell everything to fix the losses.

Miners will keep selling and those who can take risk and know how to hold for few years will keep buying every single cheaper coin. Don't forget this experimental coins being backed by some whales. They will not let this coin go without giving results. It will take time but I see no reason to be worry over price when development is going on nonstop.

Virtopia died. 7 blocks per day ... ((

Virtopia is far from dead mate. Bad couple of days but even at that I'm still getting more than I was getting on suprnova over the week.

Was getting 180 coins per day on suprnova and virtopia including bad days over a week averaged at 220. Last week my average was at 270. You just got to roll with it buddy ;-)

It's a pity. Nice pool..

We are far from dead Wink Notifications system incoming, ability to set payout amount, mobile app, and some other cool stuff.

Rough days happen in mining and the fact that we have been so lucky up to that point makes it even seem worse then what it really is. Things are back on track and those that stuck with us reaping the rewards.

I find this weird how miners leave one pool for another - way too much FOMO and FUD. I have about 300+ MH on Virtopia. And I am watching my 27 miners very closely. If predicted payouts vs actually payouts fall behind, I will be the first to ask why.

But over the past 5 days, Virtopia is way ahead - way, way ahead. In the past 24 hours, it's just ahead of estimates, but it's still ahead. There was one slow day - that's it - it's a small pool, this is going to happen - but that's the time to jump in not out.

And so after one day - you call it dead? You are missing out. Stick with Suprnova and get your steady, hourly, just below estimate payouts.

Virtopia has been a really good pool. It's been the fastest to pay me 25k RVN of any pool I've used - I've mined over 25kRVN on Virtopia, Ravenminer, Suprnova, Threeeye, Cyrptopool.party and RVNpool. And I started on RVNpool back in February when Diff was really low!

The pool operator, Charlie, is always on line over on the Discord channels - both his own channel and many of the other Raven communities too. Great guy - solid pool.

This is a good pool - if you can tolerate "Small Pool TTF" then you will be rewarded with a better than predicted payout.

If you're tired of waiting for blocks at pools to get payouts, why not try our PPS pools? I doubt any other pool starts paying faster, so it doesn't take long to see how it works. With PPS every share is credit to your balances as difficulty/network_difficulty*4992 RVN (there's the fee, it's not 5000. 8/5000=0.0016 so it's a 0.16% fee). As rewards are based purely on this, the number of other miners on the pool doesn't matter at all. It's a useless statistic.

Payouts are sent every 7 minutes for balances above 5 RVN, and we have servers on the US & EU. Really the payouts could be dropped to every minute for balances over 1 RVN, the transactions are so cheap currently... but do you really want that kind of spam in the wallet? Customized thresholds are also possible!

I'm wondering how it could be any better? Smiley

Virtopia is back to 'Killing the Game'
At my hash, I was estimated to earn 1,700 today, and so far (with 6 hours to yet today) I've got 1,948 dropped into my wallet.
And there is still another block pending... going to be another big payout day on Virtopia!

We also HODL all RVN we got mined.
Not to have any $ in the future if the price will probably increase -> No! - we wan't to have the RVN in the future, because it is a very nice project which is hopefully successful.  Grin

Is it to much of a stretch to think that the Ravencoin blockchain could be used to release security tokens on it? There is a big connection between Patrick Byrne, Bruce Fenton, Trevor Koverko, plus tZero and Box. All intertwined and working together. Imagine when Polymath releases its security ST-20 tokens. Since Polymath itself is a ERC-20 token it would need somewhere to place its security tokens. Wouldn't it make sense to park the security tokens on the Ravencoin network? Thus giving Ravencoin the purpose everybody is looking for and and giving security tokens the jump start they need with a reliable network?

I'm against paying centralised exchanges to get listed though, those funds could better be used for marking and development. If whatever exchange wants to get fees from RVN traders, then let them list it for free.

Perhaps a creative way to get listed on a centralised exchange is for a mining pool to set aside a portion of their 'fee' to be used as a fundraiser for a particular exchange? And for users to also have the choice to donate to this fund (in case they aren't miners)?

Even if it is just 0.5% of their mining pool fee, it could get enough momentum to get on some mid sized exchanges. Would also be a win for the mining pool to attract new miners, who want to help build ravencoin while doing something they would be doing anyway (that is, mining).

It would need to have transparency behind it, where people can independently verify that the pool fee is going to a fund, which will be used for a specific exchange who has publicly agreed to list Ravencoin once the relevant funds are raised.

Just a thought Smiley
