When you try to replace wallet.dat, the purse launches after it launches, and creates its new one. It turns out to restore the wallet is not possible. I ask for help, what is the problem. Thank you. Google translator

Пpи пoпыткe зaмeнить wallet.dat, кoшeлeк пocлe зaпycкa eгo cтиpaeт, и coздaeт cвoй нoвый. Пoлyчaeтcя вoccтaнoвить кoшeлeк нeт вoзмoжнocти. Пpoшy пoмoщи, в чeм пpoблeмa. Cпacибo.
In the new wallet copy out a test address.
Then try the same process with the new wallet.dat.
If that works then your process is correct and then there is an issue with your very first wallet.dat - filename or corruption.
If you renamed it test for spaces and extra characters that maybe in the file name

If it fails then I can only think of the location chosen during the install is different.

I have hundreds of confirmations on my deposit to CryptoBridge, same address that I use every week, but it has not appeared in my wallet for several hours. Any similar issues?

Yeah there was some maintenance done to help scale which caused deposit/withdraw delays with BTC.
Their released statement on Discord is not specific

@everyone As all of you undoubtedly noticed, CryptoBridge is facing some larger operations issues. We have been working hard in the last weeks to scale our systems, but the demand is growing faster than our wildest expectations. We want to let you know that your funds are safe. Our devs are working around the clock setting up new resources that can better handle the load. Specifically, this means that we are continuously adding new infrastructure. That’s why deposit and withdrawal queues often get delayed and funds don’t arrive when you expect them to. We fully understand your frustration and we take the security of your funds very seriously. Every step is double checked to ensure proper operation.
We certainly should have been more transparent, especially in this situation. This is the first step towards improving our communication. Thank you all for going through these rough times with us while we focus on making the decentralized exchange more robust. Together, we will make the financial world a better place.

I was just thinking... shouldn't RVN slowly replace XVG in market cap and acceptance? They have some similar capabilities but X16r is ASIC resistant while the different algos Verge offers are not helping much with that.

Also Verge has been hacked at least 2 times with tons of instant-mined coins flooding the market. However, their stance when a hack is happening is what angers me the most. Raven is still too young to be targeted I guess but at least we have no reason to fear a hack so far.

Neither coin had a premine which is good. However, as mentioned above, with the hacks on the Verge blockchain that mined a big amount of coins it's like it had a premined amount.

Perhaps a creative way to get listed on a centralised exchange is for a mining pool to set aside a portion of their 'fee' to be used as a fundraiser for a particular exchange? And for users to also have the choice to donate to this fund (in case they aren't miners)?

Even if it is just 0.5% of their mining pool fee, it could get enough momentum to get on some mid sized exchanges. Would also be a win for the mining pool to attract new miners, who want to help build ravencoin while doing something they would be doing anyway (that is, mining).

It would need to have transparency behind it, where people can independently verify that the pool fee is going to a fund, which will be used for a specific exchange who has publicly agreed to list Ravencoin once the relevant funds are raised.

Just a thought Smiley

That is actually a great idea ...

We would be happy to do so for our new Pyroxene (theMINE) platform for RavenCoin (http://pyroxene.chainworksindustries.com/).

We need to maintain our 0.7% for the pool, but if we up the percentage, anything over and above the 0.7% fee will be put aside in a unique RVN cold wallet, and when and agreed amount is reached, we can trade them off for the amount required for the inclusion into another exchange. Our pools are new and on new servers, so we would need a number of miners moving in to do such a thing, but we will keep that wallet as a 'CWI Community Wallet' which cannot be touched for any other use.

Let us know if anyone would be behind this method and if so, we could start it as immediately as community consensus allows.

#crysx

It's a shame not more people are enthusiastic about this idea or something similar. It feels like everyone is willing to mine a coin or argue why the price should be higher or what the devs are doing right/wrong, but when it comes to giving a little something back for the mutual benefit of everyone, there just isn't much momentum.

Anyway, another way to support Ravencoin could be through Binance's community coin of the month. Binance are currently taking nominations for this month and if Ravencoin is included now or at a later date I'll be voting for it.

Zergpool- CryptoBridge is experiencing operational issues with deposits again. Number of coins cannot be traded.
