What do you think about bounty campaigns that announce their KYC check at the end of the campaign? Many bounty hunters simply don't want to do that and the bounty managers or the ICO teams get free promotion for their projects.
Is this fair?
Every bounty thread should clearly state, wether there will be a KYC or not. We should ask the admins for changing the rules regarding this issue.
What do you think?
The good way for bounty manager and bounty hunters is don't need to require KYC for participants, why need the information it, i think passport of my very important and i don't want to send it to internet, i thought most bounty hunter think like me.

Of course, all conditions must be known at the very beginning. But, unfortunately, there are exceptions, when the KYC ALARM!!! come from state regulators. It's not the fault of a team or manager, it's just the problem. Big problem. Unsolved problem

KYC doesnt have a point to bounty campaigns the only purpose of it is to get the information of certain person and the purpose of kyc is to prevent tax evasion there's no point for it to be on bounty campaigns because we gained the coin by working and there's no money invested the project's out there to grab the information is likely sell the information.

Nobody can to regulate this. I participated in the several such campaigns. And I'm ready to say that if I know about KYC before I can to choose. But if BM tell about KYC at the end it is often scam or greed. That it's the same imho.

Actually it is just fair because as stated in any campaigns, any rules can be changed or added within the duration of the campaign. As a bounty hunter we must just comply with the rules for us to get paid. Some campaigns are requiring KYC because there are some instances that participants use multiple accounts, resulting to campaign abuse.

Simple. You can choose ignore and don't participate in that bounty campaign, if you don't want KYC. Some Campaigns pay to your wallet on their website (HOQU for example), so they need user KYC as a requirement to withdrawn.

Already many campaigns in the beginning warn about passing of this procedure. I'm not comfortable with that. I rent an apartment and all bills come in the name of the owner of this apartment.

You need to know it works to see if members who join the bounty campaign are individual or just multiple accounts. But it is also a lot of bounty participants who want their data stored secret especially this is the network. Yes, bounty managers should set rules from the start of the campaign and do not go around changing the rules, even though I know they have the authority to change the rules of the campaign

Sounds like a shady tactic quite frankly... Unless, of course, that they may a public disclosure about this beforehand. Otherwise, sounds like a scam.

actually i have nothing against kyc. but it should be said at the beginning that it is required. everything else is unfair.
but before i make kyc, i thoroughly check who i give my data to. everyone should do this before.

Fully agreed. We must know about KYC before but not after campaign ends. But this is forum with free (nearly) discussions. That's why there are nor requirements or strong rules for campaign carrying out.

I agree that all conditions of the company must be stipulated at the start. But unfortunately very often bounty managers of companies put before the fact at the end of the company about the passage of KYC. And in the end, many bounty hunters are indignant about this.

In an area where anonymity should reign as cryptocurrency, asking the KYC to the bounty hunters I think it's a thing out of the world. I agree that on every bounty thread there should be written clearly whether there is KYC to be done or not, so everyone will decide freely whether to participate in the bounty campaign or not

I understand that bounty managers prefer to have real hunters in their teams and not farmers or bots. They have to find ways to find out the cheaters ans KYC is one of them BUT rules shouldn't be changed when a campaign is started and if there's no KYC at the beginning that's unfair to make it compulsory at the end of the campaign.

Of course it's unfair! It takes a place in a single bounty now that is finished and managers asked the participants about KYC. Suddenly. And don't want to send earned tokens because of belonging to the list of "specific" countries. It is a real fraud based on discrimination! To say it frankly.

There's no problem with doing a KYC as long as the one doing it is a legal entity. Personal information should be kept carefully because it can be used by other people in doing fraud and other crimes. I've heard that there was some KYC companies who are selling data they gather from KYC to black market, which maybe what scares most investors and bounty hunters on doing KYC.

Kyc for bounty hunters should not be required because they are not investors and they are just participants who are advertising the ico's so i believe that most of the people in the community who are manging a campaign should not ask for KYC for the participants.

For me, I think it is a good thing to do KYC before bounty distribution to avoid cheating and multiple fake entries. But for most ICOs, KYC is not necessary for those who are participating in bounty programs. If ICOs decide to let us comply with the KYC requirements, they should be announcing it in advance, not after the end of the ICO. Whether they KYC or not, it is important that they should distribute the tokens we earned as promised no matter what program are we joining. Just my two satoshis.

A lot of bounty programs spring up surprises at the end of the campaign after one must have painstakingly done all the tasks required. It is better to spell at the rules of engagement before so bounty hunters decide where to continue or move on to the next project.
