Interesting coin. If we use it for storing torrent-files, it will be decentralized network to store info for another decentralized network, brilliant!  Grin Seriously, it can be a great foundation for saving info and motivating people to support the network. The only problem is big blockchain, but it could be really stored on servers (hosted by some users), and other users won't hold the whole blockchain on their local computers.

I think in next years 500 GB yearly won't be a big problem because the standard for a harddisk will be >5 or even >10 TB.

Yes, you're right. Even now 3-5 TB is rather usual for home PC
