Optimized all in one client bins for Win 64, with minor tweaks, in case anyone is actually using the slow one posted with release. My testing on Bulldozer optimized was 3x faster+ i7,core2, bulldozer available variants available at: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=347296.0Use at own risk, etc. Tips: DPGxftskgx6GkrMp91ZcWpjPHuqNCQ7SpM Feedback from multiple users shows anywhere from 3x - 5x performance increase from standard win bin.Another 10% and haswell variant are waiting for dev to update source, will post then.

I've got a question is it safe? 128k is not very big, but if we can save a .torrent into blockchan, maybe a virus/trojan or something? maybe another cryptolocker?

You can store anything, but if you run untrusted .exe taken from anywhere (website, torrent, blockchain, etc)... It won't be Datacoin problem, really. Part of Datacoin blockchain will have the same level of trust as usual websites. There will be announces for trusted huge importand files stored here (i.e. look into https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=344129 )

Does the team includes the original developer ? I might be interested to provide some online services for this coin.

You can also ask him several questions. As I know, now he's working both at code and at press-release to present the coin to bigger auditory.

There is 870K generated coins right now, and trading volume on both exchanges is (roughly) near 15K what is near only 2% ! People are not dumping their coins that they have mined at that low prices, that's good! Hopefully demand for Datacoin will grow soon.

Still no - Cryptsy is busy with updates, and maybe it is not good idea to push DTC to many exchanges. Both buy\sell volume is low now, and if it is distributed to many exchanges, it will be impossible to trade amounts bigger than 100 DTC

Hi everyone!
I'm facing some trouble to synchronize the wallet on windows. I've created the datacoin.conf file and putting it in the right place. I even have taken the list of nodes from cryptocointalk. I also add some manually. But nada...
In the debug file, it seems that qt is in a loop with peer=5.9.247.87:4777 and doesn't want to use other node.
Could you please help me?
Thanks!

I'll be near my home computer soon, so I'll post fresh nodes there. And yes, just now you can do following. Go to datacoin site, get block explorer URL, ping it and get its ip. Then add it as first node.

Thank you for the reply but that doesn't solve my issue. I've done that you said and also added it manually.
I'm waiting till you get back home.

This issue of not able to find node may be due to DNS seed sever. It is still using primecoin DNS seed server.
Regards.
