maybe someone wants to takeover?
I like this idea. Who will take it?

i know 2 c++ devs with 10+ years coding experience.

they already expressed interest in switching to crypto. i will ask them if they can analyze the code and are interested in taking over the coin.
(would be their first project in crypto space)

ofc, i cannot promise anything, but its worth a try.

just to be clear, i dont't have any holdings in dtc anymore but i liked the idea when the coin first came up.
So maybe you should try with MarcusDe and sampei7777 ?

i can give an update in the middle of next week
That's really great for whole DTC network  Wink

hey guys, i tried to convince them but they are pretty busy with another project.

they had a look at the code and decided it wasnt worth their time.

but it was a try at least Wink maybe someone else will revive dtc.

Some price movement.  Maybe because of this?

Lovely.  Bytest@mp, that is.  My suspicion is that the Storj people will keep Datacoin as one of the coins on their network.

So Datacoin seems to be slowly getting some traction.  Maybe because the dev left it pretty much complete for the purpose it was intended for.

I wonder if it is possible to see and interpret a Datacoin transaction payload in the Bytest@mp block explorer.  I was thinking of Deckbound and Landgrab, where playing cards and virtual real estate are embedded into the Bitcoin blockchain.  Datacoin seems a much better vehicle for this, since an enormous 128k of data is available per transaction.

If bter read this -- pool is working good from some time, orphaned block problem disappeared.

I think that you should send official note to Bter that network is now safe and without problems
