Not all airdrop is scam sometimes we make money through airdrop but mostly airdrop are scam so, be wise to choose airdrop, and search for good strategy to join airdrop campaign.

I' m not scammed by any airdrop but I say not all airdrop is sacam because I have friend who earn more money through airdrop.

The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?
actually it can happen because you do not see the details of an airdrop that you follow, if doing what I do might be less likely to experience disappointment.

I want to say, So far I have not been scammed on airdrops, maybe because I just joined recently. But many people say that most of them are donations. And tokens are too easy to make and maybe can be done instantly in etherdelta. Mix watermarks to get the community running and start taking out the trash before you do not work at all.

So we are unfortunate enough to start with joining airdrop in 2018 because most of it are scams? Anyway i do not join airdrop i am only joining bounty campaign and this is my first project i join. I do  not know if it will work but if it works then i would be glad also because this is a reward in our efforts to promote ICO's. We are doing also our best in order to let those ICO project be implemented or get their target. To all bounty threads, the participation of bounty hunters is important because we are responsible in getting of their sales high. Yet, if they will not pay us then maybe i am not lucky in joining bounty campaign. For now the ICO project was choosen wisely and i guess they are already wrapping up with their sales as the ICO project will end in the last week day of april. And i guess they are already in their way to success.

Well I got scammed most of the time but the only thing I've lost is the time and effort for signing up in their airdrop form.
I didn't recieve 90% of the airdrop coins where I signed up but I don't care, it is just a free coin after, I'll just be thankful if I recieve
something that will be valuable and if not then at least I tried.

I don't have any complaints about airdrops as long as it doesn't require personal informations, like passwords or private keys or asking you
to send them ETH or BTC to recieve their airdrops.

I don’t think most airdrop are scams; however, there are quite a few scams out there. With that being said, one has just have to choose the right airdrop to participate in.

I don't have much experience with airdrops, since I am still a new member of the forum. And the campaign that I have joined was the campaign of Sir yahoo62278. And he has some good trust. After that campaign has ended, I tried to join airdrop, but I don't trust it that much. Since the payout is high considering my current rank. I think that 50$ is too good to be true. And the manager does not look to have some trust, and just joined recently.

If the airdrops are mostly scams, then it is better for me to stay away in airdrops since I don't know how to consider one, a scam. Maybe you can give me some tips about looking for legitimate airdrops, sir?

Not all airdrops are scam...  But we cant deny the facts that there are several airdrops emerge which is not legit...  Its very hard to predict which airdops is true and which is not... The first thing we need to do is to have a research about the airdrops we have joined and also we need to be careful...  Its hard to identify which is real and scam so its depends to ourselves if we would get fool by this...  But as what I've said before its hard to know...  Just always be careful...

I don't think your percentage is correct but many airdrops aren't worth the transaction fees to move them.  If it's a scam or not, that's another question but it could just be a lazy developer who just wants to premine a bunch of tokens and give them away with no intention to develop it.

I hate to admit it because the first income I got from this forum is from and airdrop, but sad to say that is the current status of the airdrops. Im not sure what they can get from you in letting you participate in their airdrops and then they give you nothing. Some even asks for donations so you could get your free airdrops, see, free airdrop.

I think its wasting time if you playing in airdrops, many of them are not paying, even when they pay the value are worthless. They didn't even have any price and listed in exchanges.

Yeah... you are right. I have also noticed this. Scammers have taken advantage of the sharp rise in interest in the crypto-currencies. Many of them are holding airdrops in which worthless alts or tokens are being given, and at the same time these people are compiling data regarding emails and ETH wallet addresses of the users.

I usually get less involved with airdrops though it does not take too much time, but it does bring in a lot of value, even creating a waste of money.

Better to stay away from aridrops, they need all your data including email then they will try to spam and scam you in another way. Airdrop are very easy to create and anyone could do that. So be careful.

I agree with you that most airdrops are scams, they are just taking information from people who sign up in their forms. Honestly, I really hate airdrop! It make me think that an ICO is a scam. We can say that there are some that is a legit project but I will stay away from Airdrop as much as possible.

I don't want to say that 99% of all airdrops are a scam because I think there are any good airdrops and we are not joining with them so we cannot get their tokens. but if we can found one or more airdrops, then we are not saying that airdrops are a scam. we need to find in out there by searching on many websites which give the information about good airdrops and if we already joining with so many airdrops, I think there will be one or more airdrops that will give us a good profit.

I can think of several excellent airdrops just in the past month. Gladius, SynapseAI, AELF, and SWARM for starters.

You just have to know where to look to find

AIRDROPS THAT MAYBE DON'T SUCK

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1OoNKjUxXkp-g0Etn5XZdD8lD3FiUngY8GfDNNoAWGPc

Like this one.

https://gonetwork.co/airdrop

Winners of ETHWaterloo - the world's largest Ethereum hackathon. I bet you didn't know about that.

Check out the Google spreadsheet for an active, ongoing list of other airdrops that maybe don't suck. I update it daily.
