I participated for many years in drops and did not earn so much here and decided that it was not much to gain from this until I got a good amount of money. Recently I stayed in business now, it motivates me.

My own experience with airdrop is that they sent me an email containing all my details and ask me to claim the token by putting my private keys on the site to claim the token,

i won't say that 99 percent of them are scams, more like the 80 percent of them, however I was lucky when participating on airdrops, the rewards I got weren't that big but I got them at the afterall.

Most likely it was a letter from scammers. No project ever asks for your private key. If you enter your key, then immediately transfer all funds from your wallet to another.

You are correct most of them are scam. The Airdrop project owners are thieves who are only interested in the donation they will get from unsuspecting hunters that will donate their hard earned Ether which they claimed to be used as gas or a support their effort in listing their scamming token.

I was never deceived in airdrops. I try to avoid them. Several times I participated in distributions and got a few coins that were not good for anything.

Yes of course some airdrops too just created to scam many people especially those nee in crypto. They think they could earn big by just doing airdrop but sometimes the result is different. I don't like airdrop that requires investing because who knows if the company will scam or not. That is why i stay away from it.

I participated in many airdrops, 99% of which didn't pay. But this is not the worst. the worst thing is that many airdrops require you to fill out your email address. So my email address is full of spam now, It’s hard to clean them up.

The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?

I don't agree that 99% of airdrops are scams. Maybe only 75%. Based on my experienced with airdrops, i do usually received tokens and sold it in the exchanges. Maybe it is just a matter of selecting good airdrops. You also need to check it if it is a real token because some also are not true.

In the event that you simply take after the connections from the Telegram bots who spam in each ICO battle visit like "Authority LEGIT HOT AIRDROP", at that point yes, 99% of these are trick.

How can they be scams if they are free? Unless you hand out your private keys or any other personal info that could get you hacked I don't see how they are scams. Some airdrops prove to be worthless though, but not scams. Polymath airdrop was my best airdrop so far.

In the current market, all airdrops are basically useless. There is no difference between your participation and non-participation. Instead, it will expose you a lot of information. So don't do these useless things. Concentrate on research projects.

You are right, I also don't agree that 99% of airdrops are scam but I must agree that most of them now are scam, only few airdrops are real and some of them give us good profit.

But today airdrop began to appear as part of the bounty program. And I haven't heard anything bad about them yet. It seems as there everything is as honest as in relation to the bounty.

right, I agree with your statement.
first when i just joined in crypto and follow some airdrop i always get paid enough, so i can fulfill my life need from airdrop, but now airdrop more scam, i rarely find airdrop that give pay, so i do not follow airdrop again because it is just useless.

I do have the same situation. I become part of many airdrops before, but I dont get any coin in return. I consider airdrops as a waste of time, it is not worth it to join.
