I participated for many years in drops and did not earn so much here and decided that it was not much to gain from this until I got a good amount of money. Recently I stayed in business now, it motivates me.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

When I was told about the drop, I was used because I was a referral, but when I tasted the essence, I also began to look for referrals.

Well, it's not a secret for anyone. But the fact is that one in a hundred can give you more than $ 1000, such cases were not small. This is how to play roulette.

for me it is just a waste of time why not use the time for bounty because bounty has much more chance to get more profits and pump unlike with airdrop

That's a lot of scam airdrop. I once followed some airdrops but all the coins earned from the airdrop didnt have a price so it was futile to follow the airdrop.
Even a lot of airdrop that requires participants to pay to get their coins shouldnt follow the airdrop like that is usually a scam.

For me it airdrop it's a waste of time and even if it is not Scam then score purse this garbage makes no sense !
I agree. Better to make free bets in the casino than to participate in the airdrop.

I agree that most of the airdrops are scam!! I joined an airdrop, and it is in telegram, a bot and you will claim every hour to receive token and to payout you need 100tokens of that. And guess what i reach 50 tokens so i cannot withdraw? Because it is not 100, see? Most of the airdrops are scam that's why i don't like airdrops now.

The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?

Most of the links are not legit because there are users over here that are just posting fake sites and phishing sites as well so just keep on working on bounty campaigns since they will surely pay you at the end of the ico sale if the manager is very reliable.

There are too many airdrops and there are too many scams. Currently I'm watching some telegrams about airdrop and I do not care about it anymore because there are so many airdrop scams. I was disappointed with that. If it is airdrop from those ICO projects I might consider joining, but if it's an ambiguous project I would not join.

depending on how you look at it from your point of view, if I see airdrop only given for free and how the project works well if it does not have the cost, I see it is often a lot in the campaign on the thread

it all depends on each project, we can assess the project is real or just looking for profit. so I think you can judge for yourself. it can be said that in the end many projects do not pay or fail to enter the market. they reasoned that it did not achieve sales targets and various other reasons. but who knows? so the point is to be careful in choosing ICO.

Has anyone participated in an airdrop or ico that completed what they said they would? Or have they all just cleverly seized investor money for advertising and hype?

Think about it...

Scammer makes whitepaper making wild promises - cost $200
Website - cost $200
Blockchain- cost 0 (thanks open source)

Scammer issues 1 million airdrop tokens and collects user data that can be sold for hundreds of dollars per person
Scammer does ICO and raises 1 million dollars by issuing another million tokens, hyping it up with airdrop useful idiots.
Scammer does 20% premine on ICO tokens

Scammer now has 1 million dollars, plus 200 thousand dollars in premine tokens, and huge value in customer data.

Scammer bribes exchange, pumps price up like crazy, then dumps their tokens and repeats the process with a new group of idiots.

There is no provocation in this topic. In fact, 99% of the airdrops are worthless. Especially in a declining market, many air drops are just to cheat you to pay attention to their twitter and Facebook, which has wasted a lot of time.

I just participated in 30-40 Airdrops. And Now i have near 12 different tokens, 5 of which I already can sold on exchanges... Because of this I think it is only 60-70% of SCAMs, not 99%.

Well technically yes when we are talking about wasting your time and effort, because these tokens from the free airdrops has less chance of getting some good value in the future, less chances of getting listed into exchanges that is why most of these airdrop tokens are trash, never tried to participate because it isnt worth the hassle.

Well you are 99% true anyway so the best thing is to avoid airdrops especially if you already have higher rank in bitcointalk account, which means you can participate in campaigns with way more pay than airdrops. I just realized my wallet has been flooded with shitcoins because of participating in airdrops which only so few are legit and has enough vlaue.

Better to stay away from aridrops, they need all your data including email then they will try to spam and scam you in another way. Airdrop are very easy to create and anyone could do that. So be careful.

I've been fooled in some airdrop 5 times and bounty 1 times. of these results have been concluded that airdrop is risky and can also be profitable and from airdrop many rumors say a lot of data stolen from the airdrop. this is a serious problem that needs to be regulated in cybercrime rules

Very wary of airdrops that require you to have a certain percentage of coins to participate - OTHO for example was one. Never again.
