Yes, it has reached its goal but bitcoin can not be said to be senior or old because bitcoin is new and there is no connection of wide business connection as it has ever been. Bitcoiner hope that the main purpose of bitcoin is reached and there is no constraint at all

I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022), but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies.  When the altcoin market is examined, it is inextricably linked to the price of Bitcoin.  Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles; strangely this was a similar sentiment held by those "respectable" investors when Bitcoin was in its infancy.

What do you think?  I'd love to hear from some crytpo veterans.

I think bitcoin still not do their goal because there are still issues regarding to the transaction fees and delaying of payment that is need to solve, improve or upgrade. And maybe if bitcoin will legalize in the world that was a good thing that happen in the history of bitcoin. And many people will become happy if that will happen.

it is only at the beginning of its path, it has become a media sphere, it will become an ordinary thing without which you can not live like a smartphone, the Internet.

Even if Bitcoin is almost reaching its 10th age already, it is a clear that its goal is not yet fully achieved. We can easily accept the reality that it is still fiat money that remains in use today anywhere in the world. Bitcoin is also used as a currency, and remains to be a great alternative to fiat. But it is still growing as a currency, still far from achieving its full potential. The road is not easy either. But it will make it to its goal, one step after another.

Bitcoin has been known to many people around the world, bitcoin has gained the trust of many people around the world, bitcoin has had a fairly high price, bitcoin has been used for various transactions, many people have invested bitcoin. But bitcoin can not yet be a national currency that can be used for all transactions around the world. This means that bitcoin has not achieved its overall goal even though there is some of what the bitcoin wants to have achieved.

It has not even reach the quarter of his goal because they are still much to achieve that will make the masses to join the forces of blockchain in the future.  i also see government approved it soon.

If I can only understand correctly, on whether a BTC has achieved its ultimate goal? I'm afraid that these questions do not have a clear answer, because nobody or anyone knows the true purpose of the BTC. It can not be called a sum, like a dollar or euro. Because at the same time and day, BTC is performing a function of propagating a kind of electronic money in the country.

Bitcoin has reached its goal, we can see that bitcoin can be one alternative payment that is not related by a third party (bank). I think it is the decentralized nature that bitcoin brings with it its purpose.

I think that it has not reached its goal, because most of the people in here consider bitcoin as an investment or a form to make huge amounts of money, that is the main reason of why i think that it has failed on the main purpose of what it had

I think Bitcoin will only achieve its full goal if all currencies rely on cyptocurrency (Bitcoin sets as main currency) and replace all fiat currencies in the world. It will take hundreds of years tho before this will happen.

Bitcoin has great future and its goal not yet reached.   I believe that it has the chance that it will be considered as a alternative currency to fiat in the near future.

In my opinion bitcoin still has not reached its goal. Both in terms of price because Bitcoin prices are still volatile and very far away to get back to their highest price. But the main purpose of bitcoin into digital currency that can be accepted by the world

If Bitcoin has a goal with a higher price every year it has been achieved until now but not all the goals they achieve.

For my own opinion, for now i think it doesn't reach yet. The price is too low it really dip too much in the market. And for now, i think the bull run has starts already coz last day the price jumped so high.

I have one apprehension that i don't think there is any fixed goal for btc. It has done wonders in the past and I am pretty sure it will do in near future, I am not going to lose hope and fingers crossed.

I think not. Bitcoin still takes a lot of time so that the purpose of bitcoin can be achieved. I think the purpose of bitcoin is to become a digital currency that is acceptable in every country. Maybe it's too much, but I understand exactly what the bitcoin wants. That's just my opinion.

No Bitcoin hasn't reached the goal yet, Bitcoin supposed to be the world currency where everyone in the world can used it to buy anything, now the adoption rate is still low, and the government keep on blocking the adoption, and the Bitcoin feature itself still not yet ready, the speed and the fee still troublesome, so I think need more time to adopt this technology
According to you, bitcoin is only gaining its weight and popularity among the people so it still grow and grow )  Grin Wink Roll Eyes

There are governments that are now legalized bitcoin as digital currency. If you will observe our economy, you can find out that there are now banks that are using blockchain technology. I am sure that the blockchain technology is the future of our payment system.
