NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information

So if we ever make coins or something we will need a slogan. USD has in god we trust. Bitcoin has "vires in numeris" which means strength in numbers. I thought for nxt we might use "In emergentia speramus" which translates to "in emergence we trust"

I wanted to write something else underneath the nxt logo that i put on my silver bars so "In emergentia speramus" is what i came up with. All constructive comments welcome.

My theory on the NXT price rise is it's rising because it's a cryptocurrency not based on the Bitcoin protocol and thus isn't experiencing the issues Bitcoin and it's clones are.

An event like this makes it clear why it's good having a crypto based on a whole different codeset.

It's not finished yet. I didn't put the links in it because I don't know how we will promote them, which is really open source and who's client gets a separate homepage.

I took control of the subreddit on 2. February and made the design on 3. February.

It's only 10 days since then and there are already 175 subscriptions and currently 16 NXTers are online. Alone in this month we got 1400 uniques and over 8000 pageviews (in just 10 days!).

And this without ANY promotion or marketing effort. (This will come ones Nxt has a nice and finished client and a good starter website)

** Big News **

Nxt (along with Peercoin) will be one of two official currencies at Trekcon Springfield:

We will have access to quite a bit of media as well as tie-ins with Star Trek actors at the event. I will be working with local companies prior to the event to help support Nxt.  More details to come, still working on the logistics.  Here's a video we put out when we added Peercoin:

this is much more interesting than it seems at first. having private data sections within code would solve many
problems, e.g. to create real smart software agents and also fully trustless gateways.

vox populi - "voice of the people". Short non-prearranged interview with an ordinary person (e.g. on the street); sometimes shortened to "vox pop".

Vox populi actually makes sense, at least to me.


But I like many suggestions.


Also "Totum maior summa partum."  The whole is greater than the sum of it's parts (because NXT has many features and because it's has a community that works in synergy)

Anyone knows what the dgex investment opportunity is about? They were not very clear. I sent an e-mail but I'm a bit hectic lol I have money (not BTC/NXT though but guess it can be sorted) but ofc need so much more information before deciding anything.
