Here is version 2.0 of my Windows NXT client "NXT Solaris".
It is now open-source. Source code is included in the download archive.
Donations I hope you like my client and I’d be extremely happy to see some donations for the future of this project!
NXT: 1758531264253431177
Do I get a prize for writing the "Fastest Obsolete Review"? Exactly 4 hours! Sorry for that. Kind of bad timing. Thanks again for your effort with the client reviews!

@CFB / JL , I get error "Unknown account" when i do startForging (on testnet) , is this because the account is new and not yet 1440 blocks old? If so, maybe another error would be more appropriate?
What does "getAccount" return?

Wow. I'm stunned. About a month ago I was doing 'research' and landed doges.org, and that's when I noticed Drexme was listed as admin. Was going to mention it here, but then I thought better of it -- maybe he had turned a new leaf, learned a lesson, etc. Sure I took 30k worth of NXT from a fundraiser. But it wasn't worth what it is now.
Your bringing back things that happened 2 months ago.

What does "getAccount" return? It does indeed return unknown account. Is this because the account is new and I haven't done anything with it yet? (on testnet) - no transactions done. I thought someone sent me 10K but it appears not, so confusion there also.

Voting System provides only a way to create polls and cast votes, interpretation is left to a poll creator.
Here is a possible scenario:
Someone creates a poll. The others cast their votes. When the time comes (should be written in description) the poll creator takes a snapshot of the blockchain with current balances of all voters and calculates the result.
Key points: 1. It's possible to "rewrite" a previous vote by sending a new vote from the same account 2. Votes can be "weighted" (if optionsAreBinary = false) 3. Nxt core doesn't validate data, it's left for client software. 4. Any approach to calculate a result can be used, it's not limited to PoS.
" interpretation is left to a poll creator." "3. Nxt core doesn't validate data, it's left for client software." Not so bad after all. But still don't get what can bring an attempt of collection competent (on problem) opinions when actually're collecting wealth-weighted ones.

Yeah, the logic is the same. If the account is unknown I don't start forging with it - otherwise an attacker can flood a node with bogus startForging requests for billions of secretPhrases with no real accounts associated with them.

Your bringing back things that happened 2 months ago. At that time (21-12) the 33900 Nxt would have fetched him 1-1,5 BTC on DGEX. That's about 600-900 USD theft at prices those days. :/ rickyjames?

Are they new?
Is it a initiative of the community nxt?
What country are they located?
No idea about the country,
but the admin is someone nice, i have no issue at all using the service.
It's a pretty unknown platform but with potential to going very well. they also have a giveaway service, if you send him some nxt (or any other) asking to put them into the giveaway: i can confirm he do. my test nxt coins have disappeared. Is this a bug? Can anyone fix it?

Cross posted from marketing thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=412243.new#newHuge Marketing Opportunity
Great job Salsacz and the rest of the Berlin crew! NiftyNikel will be contacting you today to talk a bit about our charity drive we're about to start for SongsofLove. Our marketing group, CoinTropolis, will start the party off by donating 10k Nxt. I've worked with the foundation director before... they are completely behind it.
Not only does giving back feel good, it gives us a story worth printing with the 200+ writers we have in our media list.
OK, I've just had the time to take a look at the website for SongsOfLove. http://www.songsoflove.org/Hmmmm.....I'm going to sound like the Grinch who stole Christmas here, but I am not on board with this. At all.... I admire SongsofLoves apparent aim; to bring some happiness to kids in hospital. However, I think that this charity is not a good fit for NXT. They appear to be offering the same deal to every crypto, so I am sure that the kids will get enough personalised songs to get them thru their illness, even if NXT doesn't get involved. Sorry for being a grouch, but my vote is no. I'm not quite sure why you're sorry, it's an opinion that holds equal weight and I sincerely appreciate the response. If the community doesn't want to directly fund it, that's fine.. I'll decide what type of campaign I want to put together. People joke about Dogecoin, however, there's a reason why they are kicking ass with far inferior tech. All the marketing in the world targeting nerds like us simply won't push us to that next level in my opinion. But what do I know. Very few charities accept Bitcoin. Of those charities, most want a digital currency converted to Bitcoin before they accept it. I know, I've done this when I lead initiatives for both Feather and Peercoin. From a PR perspective, that doesn't do us much good. Having a charity that directly accepts Nxt and willing to cross promote is a different story. Being able to call my contact back from Wired and WSJ and say "Ok, now I have a story for you" is different story. We have a massive PR list, guess how many want to talk about Nxt outside of the hardcore crypto community? Interesting, Dogecoin gets mainstream coverage because they are seen as the non-nerd, tipping/charity currency of the Internet. When their PR people call up the different media publications, it's a much different conversation based on the marketing they've done in the past. I don't have to own any of their coins to appreciate how they are attempting to leverage themselves outside the hardcore communities. I love charity, however, I'm taking those personal feelings out of the picture. For me, this is simply a business decision looking at ROI. I was right about pushing conferences to start the conversation (I trained Nikel in Miami), I feel I'm right about this one as well. ** Action **I'll put a video together explaining the idea. Those that want to contribute, great.. those that don't, that's cool too. I think I've been missing the point that SongsofLove and Cointropolis are not a unit. Cointropolis is a crypto marketing/promotion agency, and SoL is a charity that u are including in your crypto promo activities. http://www.songsoflove.org/http://www.cointropolis.com/Am I gettting that right? Assuming I'm on the right track, then. My problem is that I don't like SongsofLove as a promo vehicle for NXT. But I have no issues with Cointropolis being involved with NXT promotion. More help, the better, but don't forget that u are dealing with a de-centralised community, so u need to either find one friendly whale to finance your activities or convince a whole load of NXT minnows to agree with u. Last point: I still think that the need for mainstream marketing is still a couple of months away. The crypto community is round about now realising how that NXT is a serious contender, but we still need to improve the NXT user experience (ie perfect clients, stable NRS software, merchants ) before we can attract and keep more mainstream users. So I feel that most of our marketing right now should still focus on the crypto/nerd/early adopter/techie/DOGEhead markets.

Voting System still could be used to influence on autonomous scripts which r the only ones that control accounts.

How can I message? :DD And how can I forge? You can message and forge on my beta web client: http://nxtra.org/nxt-client/Log in using testnet account only! It will automatically start forging after logging in. You can stop forging by clicking the "forging" link under the avatar in the sidebar. After logging in, please send me a message (I'm testing something, write whatever you want): 9827273118446850628 - anyone else can also send me a message to the above testnet account, thanks. Messages are not yet encrypted. PS: Tested on Safari/Chrome/Firefox only. IE will be tested last, so you may want to consider using one of the 3 listed browsers. Thx!
