Requesting Dev Response

"Currently we support the same coins that Coinpayments.net do since their system returns IPN info to the site to support both the seller and buyer and the Dispute Resolution System.  I would be glad to add NXT to CryptoAlley if your devs can help.  I have been investigating the escrow protocols available but need help implementing one. I have one I am leaning towards but have to set it up on a test server.  Basically the escrow is stored in the blockchain until released.  If you would be interested in working together to build a payment solution specifically for NXT that returns IPN info I’m ready yesterday to add NXT .

The alternative to the above is to add NXT as an “offline” payment option. It would be the responsibility of the seller and buyer to complete the transaction on their own, like using check or money order in the fiat world.  Disputes would be handled the same as with Coinpayments, TX info and tracking numbers are required. There’s no problem doing this and takes about 60 seconds to implement.

Let me know what the community decides.

CryptoAlley"

ok so for all of the gateways that want to federate create a multig address to hold the btc that acts as reserve for the FederatedBTCTokens. If bob issues 5 FederatedBTCTokens than he also deposits 5 btc in the multisig address. Lets say bob and betty are federated. The FederatedBTCToken that bob issued is claimed at betty's gateway. Betty signs the transaction and publishes her signed transaction on the NXT blockchain. Of course its a multisig account so 1 signature is not enough. Bob is monitoring the blockchain. He sees the signed transaction. He downloads the transaction from the blockchain, adds his signature, and then broadcasts the transaction.

bob feels safe because he knows betty can not steal his btc without his signature. the buyer feels safe because he knows the btc is in reserve and that if bob were to attempt to misbehave than betty would offer some protection against this. betty feels safe because she is not extending a line of credit to bob, there is 100% reserve in a shared address.

Do I have this right? I think its a great idea if i do.

It makes sense to me....it's a triad escrow....buyers are safe, betty is safe & bob is safe.

It might not work for physical assets but for crypto's it could even be automated.

If you want to make NXT popular forget latin & greek for the slogan.
Stick to international language : english.
Kyrie, it is Zeus' anathema on our epoch for the dynamism of our economies and the heresy of our economic methods and policies that we should agonize the Scylla of numismatic plethora and the Charybdis of economic anaemia. It is not my idiosyncrasy to be ironic or sarcastic, but my diagnosis would be that politicians are rather cryptoplethorists. Although they emphatically stigmatize numismatic plethora, they energize it through their tactics and practices. Our policies have to be based more on economic and less on political criteria. Our gnomon has to be a metron between political, strategic and philanthropic scopes. Political magic has always been anti-economic. In an epoch characterized by monopolies, oligopolies, monopsonies, monopolistic antagonism and polymorphous inelasticities, our policies have to be more orthological. But this should not be metamorphosed into plethorophobia, which is endemic among academic economists. Numismatic symmetry should not hyper-antagonize economic acme. A greater harmonization between the practices of the economic and numismatic archons is basic. Parallel to this, we have to synchronize and harmonize more and more our economic and numismatic policies panethnically. These scopes are more practicable now, when the prognostics of the political and economic barometer are halcyonic. The history of our didymus organizations in this sphere has been didactic and their gnostic practices will always be a tonic to the polyonymous and idiomorphous ethnical economies. The genesis of the programmed organization will dynamize these policies. Therefore, I sympathize, although not without criticism on one or two themes, with the apostles and the hierarchy of our organs in their zeal to program orthodox economic and numismatic policies, although I have some logomachy with them. I apologize for having tyrannized you with my Hellenic phraseology. In my epilogue, I emphasize my eulogy to the philoxenous autochthons of this cosmopolitan metropolis and my encomium to you, Kyrie, and the stenographers.

How come that the price rises at once? Is this manipulated by the big stakeholders? Or why would so many people buy nxt, suddenly?

big stakeholder are selling nxt for weeks and trying to keep the price low. I think that there is a suden demand in nxt because of the problem with bitcoin right now (as Nxt is not a clone). I guess that Big stake holder will decide what will be the new price in the comming day. They still have plenty of nxt to distribute, I hope the price will not stabilize too high for good of Nxt (better distribution is what we need).

EDIT: it could be cfb who is bying back also!
