oh god, why my 2 vps and my local are stucking on 23195?

Either wait it out, or use my Restart node guide.
I just restarted a few nodes, all got synced quickly.

@ ferment  I sent 20,000 nxt to your donation address, 18000 for 6 nodes...2000 for your efforts..get to work  Wink

HA! Thank you. That almost makes another 10 for the yet-to-be-determined data center.

Votes? Hong Kong, Sydney, Europe?

Good times!

I would like to do something similar to support setting up nodes or VPS. Don't have the technical knowledge myself but am happy to donate some nxt. I can donate 15K for this, but who should I send it to? ferment do you have capacity to do more? Or EmoneyRu?

Yes, I can do more. It will take a few days (particularly with Christmas coming), but my goal is a 100+ node network in 10 geographic locations by Jan 3. We're almost halfway there!

Send donations to 11243542237777034551 and I'll run 1 node per 3000 nxt until the end of March.

Thank you!

I can set some up too if you would like. Can hallmark them for you if you would like.

Edit: I would set one up ahead of time and if you are happy with the result you could donate then

NXT VPS Server Donations can be sent here: 6044921191674841550
At the end of each month I will donate some of them back to the community.
This is separate from my main wallet so you can keep track of them. I will keep them in there and only use them for hosting.

Are DGEX deposits and withdrawals working properly now?  I'd like to buy some Nxt but I don't want anything to get stuck.

DGEX is working fine.
Today had some transfers via dgex.

BTW, dgex was/is the only tool which was not down...
It was short time offline and came back with that gently improved welcome screen ;-)

I think these VPSs need more RAM then we think they do. My 2GB one is pushing 1300MB usage since setting it up this morning.

Hallmarked need 2 gb or more, nonhallmark should live on 1 gb, unless ddos'ed.
But I hope NXT requires less RAM in the future.

laowai80 can do it for you. trusted  Wink

iaowai80 or ferment, these a re good people..ferments address is 11243542237777034551 as shown in his quote below

nxtbase: more nodes in more places!

Donations are rolling in. neer.g just covered sponsorship for 10 nodes in a new datacenter. Thank you everybody!

To help with more nodes, please send a donation to 11243542237777034551. 3000 nxt will sponsor 1 node for 3 months. I will leave the donated nxt in my account for 3 months for transparency purposes.

Based on the current account balance, I have received donations for 32 nodes and I'm donating 10 nodes myself. So hopefully in the nxt day or so I should have at least 42 nodes running.

Nodes:
- 10 nodes in Atlanta - (node1-10.nxtbase.com)
- 10 nodes in VA  - (node11-20.nxtbase.com)
In progress 10 nodes in Dallas (node21-30.nxtbase.com)
In progress 10 nodes in Chicago (node31-40.nxtbase.com)
In progress 2+ nodes TBD (Hong Kong? Sidney?)

To get more nodes, please send more NXT. Any amount is ok as I'll prop up new nodes every 3000 nxt received. PM if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Ferment

Tomorrow will be deleted Nxt page from official Wikipedia:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nxt

Are here any Wiki experts to prevent this?

I propose to host some dedicated server too.
Most VPS would work fine for one week but in January if the hosters get higher load due to end of holidays, it could bring some issues.
It strongly depends on the hypervisor they use and the settings for sharing all resources.
This is from my personal experience.

CFB: will those 100 VPS help? How much would be needed to make the network safe for the beginnings?
