Target value is so high you are into the incorrect branch So,what should I do? Stop the Java Process, delete blocks.nxt and transactions.nxt and restart the Java app I have blocks.nxt and blocks.nxt.bak do I delete both? Just blocks.nxt |

Not sure what you mean by this? ye i missing something. i want to run a vps hallmarked. what should i do? i generated an hallmark ID from my localhost on my computer. now i need to put it into the web.xml on my vps? i need to do other things? |

I think you can generate a hallmark from any computer just make sure that the public IP is the correct IP for your VPS server. Make sure to use the passphrase for an account that has a non-trivial amount of NXT in it. I have one with 117K+ and another smaller one with 3k. Then yes, put that into the web.xml on the VPS |

No that looks correct as well, just from earlier on today. Hy together, I am new to this whole alternate cryptocurrencie stuff but NXT has caught my attention. Unfortunately I am kinda broke like nearly every Economy student is + it is Christmas and my girlfriend also swallows a lot of....my money. I would think your account has to be unlocked anywhere, could be on your VPS or someone else. Not sure the hallmark will make that any different. |

Look at timestamp of current block and timestamp diffs between last blocks. And look at base target: shouldn't be like 10000%+. |

I'm trying to figure out if my private key can be stolen after I unlock my account. If you leave the account unlocked do you mean? I have no idea, I don't know the inner workings of the software well enough to tell you one way or the other. I would lean towards no, that they would probably have to have a key logger or something like that on the machine. Even if you unlock the account, close the browser and reopen it, it require you to re-enter the pass phrase again. I assume to prevent someone from doing what you are suggesting, just opening the browser and transferring NXT out of your account. Does that help? |

If you want you can add them into the web.xml in your nxt/webapps/root/web-inf folder under the "wellknowpeers"
