Would everyone like a new Nxt exchange? I can get us started on something more appealing than dgex with the communities support.

Well, more exchanges is generally good. Though I had no problem so far with dgex.

cheaper withdrawals and faster would be nice. dgex is good, I dont mind paying 1.4% to withdraw, but it should be done in 1-2 hours rather than 12

Good luck, although I doubt the attitude with all respect.

Are you kidding me? Considering there is ONE BILLION coins dispersed among a small number of unknowns who for whatever reason cannot give their true identity (unlike Ripple or eMunie). VERY high chance of being scammed. The market is being manipulated to create a frenzy - which is sadly working.
So many people about to get burned...
Yeah, you are the right person to run a Nxt exchange...

for my part, i begin to work on the core of a future Alias search engine (index + request tools) implements in java . I think it could be interesting to have a query tools allow us finding alias and URI associate. In a second step maybe we can implement a more sophisticated crawler (tags ans metada of URI ) . what the forum think about this project ?
That's interesting, do you plan to use Lucene/Solr, Elasticsearch, or write something from scratch yourself? Long term we may indeed need a search index within the Nxt core, as the blockchain grows too big to load all in memory and we keep adding more stuff to it that we need to query fast (like aliases).

However I have a balance of 0 on my client - dont know what to do, so I am waiting hoping that it appears on my account. Howevere I dont feel very safe with NXT coins being somewhere but dont see them on my account. its weird. Many coins have 1 minute confirmation today so I see them in my wallet immediaty and here I wait for several days and nothing happens. This is quite strange feature

Cool. When you said paid Core, you mean they are being paid for their development work? If so, full details of this should be provided (not the amounts obviously, but who is paying who, for what duration etc). Development team is a major plus of this coin. I am not paid. I will work full time on Nxt. If Nxt is successful, I will never need to work for money again, this is enough motivation for me. I will remain anonymous, at least for now. I feel safer this way.

As long as they are in the blockchain, you have the coins. NXT is not stored locally in a wallet, but online. I've found that in most cases shutting down Java, closing the client and restarting both works for me. But my basic message is: as long as they show up in the blockchain, you have the coins. Hope that helps a bit. Edit: I hope someone more tech savvy can help you out in some more detail.

I was actually about to start stuffing the block chain into ES. Is that something you're interested in playing with?

What do we know about drexme: Providing escort with linking on the account with 100 Nxt: https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,1437.msg12148.html#msg12148Created a giveaway, collected 35k Nxt, deleted Giveaway topic. This is Drexme's giveaway account: http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=3000&acc=7161646874450697154
9 days ago it was cashed out to the Dgex... (also 18.12. were some 25K sold probably via msin's escort, but these money could be originally Drexme's) However drexme is still logging to Bitcointalk and nextcoin.org...he is online right now actually Update: Drexme's account also cashed 9 days ago: http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=3000&acc=83337784338287680821. cashed Nxt from personal account: 21.12.2013 03:44:59 6635869272840226493 100,000 2. transfered remaining Nxt from personal to bounty: 21.12.2013 20:30:11 8333778433828768082 2,301 3. all sold to dgex: 21.12.2013 20:32:46 6635869272840226493 33,900

THIEF ALERT: We have been maintaining a Nextcoin forums donation giveaway fund that held around 35K of NXT in it, I noticed this morning that it had nearly been drained. GCInc/Graviton and I did some inverstigation and apparently board member Drexme transferred it all to his DGEX account, sold it for BTC, and skated off with the funds. Two weeks ago I decided to have a look inside the nextcoin.org forum pages (I am not a member of it yet). It was interesting: there were some guys who had 5 stars hero member status!? And some of them were talking and advertising about another guru member of that forum, like that forum itself has had minimum 2 years of existence! After seeing that, I decided to stay and communicate about Nxt only here in btt for a while to see what happens in the future
