100'000 NXT will be paid for working JavaScript code that signs and verifies signatures using NRS algo.

- The licence must allow to use the code in any application
- Sign/verify speed must be not lower than 100 signatures per second on a 1 GHz CPU (1 core)
- All the code must be in a single non-obfuscated well-formatted .js file
- Input/output values must be strings like "8302504e4e57c6c65335289879c6915a273d3aae7bd086058e403fcd2bc18341"

The bounty is valid till the 20th of January, 2014 12:00:00 UTC. The complete code must be published in this thread.

I post a few days ago in nexcoin.org that aws.amazon.com cloud gives 1 year free micro t1 VPS
I have a windows one free and now I added onepaid both with slightly more than 600mb ram. It seems that the nxt nodes run ok on them. I don't have them hallmarked but I thought we run as many like them as we could to support the stability.

It costs 0 for 1 year.
Go make accounts in aws.amazon.com and set up a VPS with nxt node.
You need to modify the web.xml
         <param-name>myAddress</param-name>
         <param-value>PUT THE VPS IP HERE</param-value>

Don't put money to fogrge just run nxt client.

Just running nxt node (client) with 0 nxt in it will help the stability right?? or am I confused again!!!!

I signed up and I'm at my console home page. How do I set up a VPS? Do I launch an EC2 instance? Which flavor (linux, windows) of Amazon Machine Image should I choose?

Also, has anyone confirmed that this will help nxt network stability?

Why am I doing this when I can't even get my client to run properly?

I disagree with this opinion. I think we need a voting system. Now how can we come to a consensus ?

I use the client without voting and you the client with voting. the richer branch will dictate the blockchain.

We already established that Nextcoin is not NXT official forum. On that premise, I think it is reasonable that you show some respects to the host when you enter his house. That's what I am going to do if it is my forum too.

 I guess pinarello is trying to underline that "Nextcoin community portal" nextcoin.org (ex-self-appointed "official portal") is not "the NXT community". Unfortunately, some people still think that it is most "official" website and dgex is the only exchange platform in universe.

DGEX is a part of NXT community, just not official in any capacity. Pin is also not a official voice of NXT community.

It's not just confusing, it's total bullshit. Graviton made for the community more than most of us. If someone doesn't like fees, then remember how much money did you make on Dgex or outside it but because there was such thing as Dgex. If there was no Dgex and nextcoin.org we'd still have Nxt around 0.000001 Btc and one thread here on bitcointalk.

What's with nextcoin.org spreading FUD. Although the value of nxt doesn't really matter right now as all of you are working very hard on development and marketing of nxt and we are pretty much still in Beta, the value attracts new people. And the constant downtrend will either attract new buyers or current holders will just panic sell like noobs. Although my nxt are currently being held hostage in dgex people are discrediting dgex and graviton way too much which makes new buyers scared and current holders panic sell .... i think he did a pretty good job with dgex and still does

I wan't to send my NXT to the client but i'm afraid to get hacked, i'm unsure of what security measures besides a 100 character + password i should implement for my computer. I'm not sure what ports to open and close or even how to even do them LOL ...can someone guide me on the ports? how to open/close them

 nxtgt did not mention anything really negative about dgex and Graviton want him what? Not to mention that dgex have some fees and it take some time to withdraw and deposit funds... It is not the first time the nextcoin founder censor some exchange-related topics there.

guys.  hes running a BUSINESS (the DGEX exchange).  He really has no other choice in the matter; Im sure his business partners supports what hes doing.  He not just some asshole trying to be a dictator, he simply must follow good business practice.  If his business is sponsoring an exchange and forums then they just cannot allow the exchange to be portrayed in a negative light.  Im starting to understand why he was unable to allow his forums asset become a part of the NXT Foundation.

Honestly, I think Graviton already acted in a reasonably good faith by allowing competing business open in his own forum. If you want an independent forum, please go to nxtcrypto. There would be no censor there.

At first it might need someone to make a market to get the trades going. I would be more than happy to do that, as that is kind of my day job. Anybody can place orders in the orderbook, just need to select the NXT/USD or NXT/BTC pair.

We would need some PR and marketing on big, trusted sites like Yahoo Financials or Financial Times Online or whatever. There is a bounty for it. Does anyone know about someone having the power to do it? The last time, when the price hit it's highest we had some media coverage (and the alias feature added) which helped to get new Nxters on the boat.

What we need is a Nxt SR market, that would really drive the price of Nxt  Nxt has its upswing on new features released and usability.  I think the market will take care of itself if we have a fully functioning client (nexern).  We really need something to talk with the media about, at this point we have a relatively unstable client with a huge list of potential features, need to be patient.

BTW I approached again zerocoin team with 1M NXT bounty to investigate whether NXT PoS is compatible with their protocol...
