For what it's worth, I have gone ahead and created another Devcoin wiki here: http://devtome.usingbitcoin.com/ Please let me know if there's anything else that should be done such as mirroring content or setting anything else up.

Well, as O'Brien said, "in a crunch I wouldn't like to be caught without a second backup": http://www.st-minutiae.com/academy/literature329/461.txtPlease let me know if there's anything else that should be done such as mirroring content or setting anything else up.
From the bounty update: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=34586.msg614316#msg614316The basic wiki gets 20 bitcoin, and adding advertising gets another 20 bitcoin. Once you've added advertising, and just the adsense sidebar is sufficient, post that and a bitcoin address and I'll send you 40. If you don't want to add advertising, post a bitcoin address and I'll send 20. In another post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=34586.msg654190#msg654190to get the second maintenance share, please mirror the primary devtome: http://www.devtome.org/wiki/index.php?title=Main_PageIf anyone else else makes a devtome wiki, you'll get 1/4 of the bounty. However, we really don't need a fourth wiki, so please contribute to devtome instead: http://www.devtome.org/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

I have set up i2p tunnelling that in theory should allow people to connect to my Open Transactions server over i2p. I haven't yet found anyone who uses i2p and has an interest in Open Transactions / *coin exchanges / *coin stock-exchanges to actually make the attempt to connect to it yet though. -MarkM-

Thanks for the advertising and for mirroring. I sent 40 BTC and provisionally I will in turn get 4 extra generation shares in round 7. If anyone wants up to 4 extra shares, I will trade them at 10 BTC/share, until block 24,500. The round 7 receiver file will be made at around block 25,000. The round 7 bounty file is at: https://github.com/Unthinkingbit/charity/blob/master/bounty_7.csv

Given the current difficulty of 57.3, is it practical to mine devcoins with a CPU? How long would you estimate it would take to find a block this way?

even at the current difficulty we are seeing 50, even 100 share rounds at pool.devcoin.org so solo CPU mining would probably take some time, it would be more practical to mine with a single low speed card if you want to solo

Thanks, that's what I wanted to know. So if I want to mine at pool.devcoin.org, I would just use any bitcoin miner and point it to the pool IP and port?

Thanks kjlimo. What pool do you use? Or is devcoin.org the only pool (I ask because I can't seem to get the conf. email).

I checked my spam folder, but I might have missed it. Thanks for activating, I will now give it a try.
Edit: I still get "Login failed You haven't authorised your email account yet" when I try to log in.

pool.devcoin.org is the only pool to my knowledge. However, at the market prices, it is likely more profitable to mine other coins (bitcoins/namecoins/i0coins) and simply purchase some Devcoins.
