Well I think I just lost a few SBC, it appears Coins-E is on the wrong fork. Moved some coins out and the transaction doesn't even show up on the blockchain. I'm not holding my breath that they'll do anything about it.
Just open a ticket, I lost a shitload of NVC, and LTC to that site back over the summer when the admins just up and disappeared. The new management seems to be pretty legit and helpful, I got all my missing coins back plus 8192 QRK that had been stuck in limbo since the day it got listed on Coins-e. Best of luck getting your coins back! What did you say to them to get them to do anything? I've been waiting on 10k PXC since Sept. 6th and have put in several tickets and am always met with a response of "We are working on it"

Da spricht er die Wahrheit - wäre allerdings die Frage, an wen der Brief dann rausginge Probably to the person who registered the .de domain. I hope he earned a lot of money with stablecoin. He will probably need it for the lawyers.

Disappear for a week and everybody is ready to tar and feather you... I just returned from a business trip to Japan. Found some free time to climb Mt Fuji and relax in the Hakone hot spring. Sometimes it's nice to disconnect yourself from everything. Anyway... StableCoin 1.5 Mac and Ubuntu wallets are now available. Mac: https://mega.co.nz/#!0AY3FQbb!T5wdjVvp3oDfr9Ucun4Dw2JaF0wePwP5xy50meuwn9k Ubuntu: https://mega.co.nz/#!zZEzHTzA!CvWvM1c32nmOb6yNU_YI1XqfrN83l2Mz7X_k5D6_Yfk As a bonus, either later today or tomorrow I will be making a post to collect a list of individuals interested in beta testing the mixing service. Count me in if need. Thanks.

Make sure to restart the wallet after you've modified the conf file.

Is the coin mixing process in SBC currently active? Or in development? If i understand correctly how the SBC coinmixer works it basically means this currency wont be decentralized. This project called Zerocoin http://zerocoin.org/ seems to aim to provide what Stablecoin is providing in terms of anonymity but they can accomplish it without a centralization. However, they are not a coin but rather a protocol that gets added ontop of another coin (like Mastercoin) so they need a partner it seems. Maybe SBC & Zerocoin could work together considering how they have similar(identical?) goals? If this could make SBC anonymous AND truly decentralized then I think we would have a winner.

You should read this: http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/2013/12/12/anoncoin-interview-lead-developer/If anoncoin can integrate zerocoin other coins should also be able to do so. But anoncoin seems to be miles ahead.

Zerocoin actually is a bit less secure, as all that needs is somebody to figure out the private key, which at least one person will know at launch. Stablecoin, if I'm not mistaken, mixes up the private key regularly, and an attacker would need physical access to the key nodes.

Also to that point, if i'm understanding correctly it will still be decentralized inherently, as anyone can setup there own nodes to faciliate the mixing, so you dont have to use sbc's official nodes if you dont want to, similar to mining as your not forced to use btcguild or ghash.io you use w/e pool you feel like or make your own if you want. Lastly to answer your question the mixing service is in the development stage, and recently artos has requested beta testers for this service so you'll be able to see for youself once we get an announcement for when closed beta opens up. Had a few nice jumps on Cryptsy's SBC/BTC market late yesterday. Seems like we're making slow but steady progress!

Perhaps adding transaction fees to mixing to pay whoever is running the mixing node and to place priority over those with higher transaction fees? That'd be a very good way to cope with what will happen when all coins are minted. I have been skeptical of how the transaction fee to cost to mine ratio will play out and I've been thinking that transaction fees would have to go up significantly higher.

Good assessment, that seems the logical next step as ppl need to at the very least cover the cost of running a node and this would also be an incentive to do so.
