That 3GH power was from "hashcows" , they "suck" everything from most profitable coins and then abandon them, after difficulty is sky high.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Yet we are still above 1 GH/s.

Price has recovered nicely after last night's round of profit taking. Bring on the rally!

Can someone comment on the potential risks involved with the reliance on individual mixing and broadcast nodes? It seems like this coin could abruptly 'break' if one of these servers goes down. With only one person or small group in charge of running these nodes, it seems to give the developers a disproportionate amount of power over the basic functionality of the entire network. Am I misunderstanding this? Could multiple mixing and broadcast nodes be introduced to somewhat decentralize this service?

Breaking news guys: China has officially barred banks from Bitcoin transactions.

How do you think this will affect stablecoin?

Hard to grow in value at all with 30000 being dumped at 0.002 BTC below market value

I have to agree. Someone is cashing out at bad prices. Is there any news from artos yet on what the big upcoming things are? Maybe that news can drive a recovery.

Good guy Stablecoin managed to absolutely crush that 10 BTC wall in the last 10 mins. Its certainly going to be interesting to see how things go with the Chinese news.

Looks like nothing too serious in the way until 0.00055 as of right now...

also, ^ congrats haggis, hopefully the ride pays off!
