I don't agree with you.
The financial state of the US is a laugh, and they won't be able to maintain their technological superiority versus their 'enemies' in the future.
What about Russia's financial state? This whole thing doesn't make any sense at all:
a) Why would Russia get so wound-up about the Ukraine deposing its corrupt politicians?
b) If Russia is so concerned about people who speak the Russian language in other parts of the world, why don't they just provide financial assistance for the terrorised Crimeans so they can move back to Russia?
And I've learned that if something makes no sense, there are almost certainly some money problems that are not visible to you.
Did Sochi really cost 50 THOUSAND MILLION DOLLARS? Maybe there are a few billionaire dentists in that area?
How could Russia afford such expensive Olympics? Maybe Germany has something to do with it? With Germany going crazy about developing alternative energy sources in the last few years, and the Polish and Ukrainian regions developing shale gas, who is Russia going to sell gas to?
It looks like time is running out for Putin.

We built this piece of crap , once one of the biggest buildings in the world, that even finished is costing the government millions in maintenance while people had no food , no heat , everything was in rations.
