I would also suggest information on which pools have merged mining.

Thanks for all the great info!

I'll definitely keep merged mining in mind but since some pools have merged mining switched off while they bring variable diff and local work generation online, I'll wait until the dust settles.

Hey ooc
not a mistake - not sure how you would fit it all in OP tho Tongue
Ozcoin has merged mining available on ecoinpool and it uses getwork but is unlikely to support vardiff
we also have stratum servers with no merged mining but will have vardiff (coding going os atm),

Thanks for the great work
Good luck keeping up with the changes Smiley

That's another call for merged mining. I don't want to add another column - maybe another list? Merged mining pools, make one of the columns reward type?

um sorry, not a call just a distinction between what we are doing between ecoinpool and stratum Smiley

Good news
we now have both stratum and VarDiff going for DGM an PPS
target is 18 shares per minute on dynamic
we also have user options to set their own share diff or turn off vardiff to get diff 1 shares
cheers

Stratum protocol support added. You can point stratum-mining-proxy to 3333 port.

Thanks Balthazar, I'll update soon. Also, thanks for the round history .csv file - it's nice and simple to use, and much faster than HTML scraping.

One request - any chance of getting an indicator of whether a block was orphaned or not? I know it's no use to your miners, but knowing what many pool's orphan rates are over time give us a good indicator of what miners can expect in terms of orphans from pools generally.

Rejected blocks have zero value of rewards and "rejected" string instead of blockhash. Also I should notify, that autogenerated CSV contains info only about last 120 rounds.  Roll Eyes

Nice, thanks for the explanations. 120 rounds at your current hashrate is ok, but when you get to be ~ 12% of the network then I might have to ask you for more Smiley

It will be bad day for namecoin.

But a good day for increased pool reliability and Bitcoin productivity.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

I'm seriously considering turning off namecoin.  It's a pain in the ass, buggy as hell and basically worthless.

If you're searching these lines for a point, you've probably missed it.  There was never anything there in the first place.

I turned off it already, for a month... It's like a gulp of fresh air.

GBT users will be able to mine it solo after new proxy release. I don't want to deal with Namecoin now, at current profitability. At least, until NMC community couldn't maintain their codebase in actual state.
