I finally get it ... cryptsy isnt bad, but cryptsy also means any profitable new coin will take a dive automatically, aint because no noobs either, but because autotrade pools, once listed on cryptsy a profitable coin is accessible by auto-trade pools and will be mined and sold at asking, selling at asking, at all times, with high volumes can only drive the price down, look at what happened to doge that's a big part of it... but since a very high amount of coins is now in the hands of normal miners and there is some news coming out, it's gonna be much harder to dump the coin like they did to doge lets hope, would hate that nrhs05, i dont disagree that eac is a better coin, but the rule of supply and demand will still affect it, and major dumps by auto-trade pools will hurt no matter what, they sell at whatever price

Meaning the multipools and miners will latch onto them to mine and dump. EAC will be more steady with it's coin release. Meaning it will be less profitable for miners to mine and dump right now. We are more suitable for mining and holding for long-term value. EAC will be the most profitable coin, but not for dumpers.

i think he is trolling you some people are just that inexperienced... but those should not start mining.... it takes some limited knowledge not to fuck up your mining rig and so on... Inexperienced people should definitely start mining! They just need to be careful to find people who will ACTUALLY help them. There seem to be people around who will take joy in causing naive/inexperienced people to go so far as even destroying or severely messing up their systems ( saw someone trying to convince a person that deleting their sys 32 would increase their mining speed by 30% today, the person was starting to fall for it (he had a brand new 4x r9 280x rig) before others steppped in) and I'm guessing that at least half of them are just so full of greed that they will do almost anything to keep one more miner away from "their" networks. Fortunately these Empathy deprived aren't a huge part of the community, and if you are careful, you will learn what to do from helpful folks.

It will be fun to see the timestamps of how many posts make it within 15 seconds of post #3999. I'm going to make it a bit more interesting. Not 100 EAC to post #4000, but... 500 EAC to poster # 4000!

Agreed. The pool spam is super annoying. Something needs to be done about that.

Agreed. The pool spam is super annoying. Something needs to be done about that. I think there is some secret pool war going on, with one pool DDOSing the next pool....

Most pools just aren't setup to handle the loads that you are trying to impose on them. If there was a DDoS you'd be getting packet loss, but there is none. It's just the servers overloaded. There are big challenges with trying to scale over 1Gh/s, trust me, we had to meet those challenges to get to 2Gh/s with Lottocoin. It's not easy! Most big pools are setup with multiple DDoS protections anyways these days. http://eac.dedicatedpool.comRyan, dedicatedpool.com support/admin admin@dedicatedpool.com / IRC on freenode #dedicatedpool
