We had to share some of TwitchySeals activity at Betcoin over the last 3 days alone.  Following are some NOT all of the accounts created and logins!  Mind you this is just the last 3 days!  Where does he find the time?  It's unbelievable and attempting to impersonate users... This is some real Betcoin love.

Twitchycrotch .... yeah this ass clown has been masturbating in bitcoin poker games for a quite a while. I don't even play Betcoin with any regularity, but I remember plomonster at Satoshi Poker (he's alright) and his word (poker) is gospel with me. Just ban crotch's IP and ignore his posts.

Welcome to my ignore list Twitchycrotch. Have a nice day.

SatoshiPoker was owned by Bart Van Ooort (Known as Ghadafi on Betcoin).

Plo8 stood by him while he stole player deposits.

In the end, the site had to be sold to a 3rd party who agreed to repay the stolen funds.  Very similiar to FullTilt being sold to Pokerstars, just on a smaller scale.

I never played on satoshi poker though, or with InDaMuck (afaik)  Not sure what his deal is.  In fact, I don't play under TwitchySeal on other sites either.

When Betcoin deletes one of my forum posts, I immediately repost it.

When they ban me, I immediately create a new account.  It takes only slightly more effort than logging in with an already existing account.

I would never play poker on an alt account, and haven't played poker on Betcoin in months.

Edit, also 6 of those accounts aren't even mine and the only other person who has called me "TwitchyCrotch" is plo8s son.

I believe they pay back a win at the same rate you pay to enter. They are just really low-balling the exchange rate they give you when you enter a WPN tourney.

Right, so that would be betting against the player.  They make money when the player loses money and they lose money when the player makes money.

Here's an example.  They are exchanging at a rate of 1:1.8.  The real rate is 1:1.6.  A player buys into a $100 MTT.  Betcoin debits 180 chips/.18BTC from their account.  .18BTC is worth $112.50.  WTN 'charges' Betcoin $100.  If the player doesn't cash, Betcoin profits $12.50 from the transaction (plus whatever fees WTN pays them for their traffic).  If the player does cash, then Betcoin has to pay them out at a 1:1.8 rate.  So if the player cashes for, say, $200, Betcoin has to pay them 360 chips.  But 360 chips are worth $225.  So when WTN 'credits' Betcoin, Betcoin has lost $25 on the transaction (for a net loss of $12.50 overall since they have overcharged on the buyin).  Obviously the more the player cashes for, the bigger a hit Betcoin takes.

Under this scenario, Betcoin is only making money when their players lose money.  Thats some sportsbetting shill type racket right there.  I wonder how many mysterious Betcoin-only disconnects have happened because they stood to lose too much money on the conversion if a player was running deep.

I understand the math and it's correct. There is no money made by anyone until the bitcoin is sold though. So even if they paid back 360 chips in your example the bitcoin isn't worth anymore to the player than the price they paid to enter the tourney until they withdraw and sell it. This is all assuming that Betcoin didn't always sell all of their daily bitcoin intake for WPN tourneys right away and saved some for payouts. The price was consistently in the mid $400's for months so holding some wasn't a problem. This way they could use those saved coins to payout any winners and still take advantage of selling any new bitcoin taken in with their really low exchange rate. I could very well be mistaken but I still don't see any other reason for their exchange rate to be so low.

Whatever the case may be, Betcoin is blatantly lying about both there being a real-time exchange rate and their exchange rate coming from the average of the prices at Bitstamp and Preev.com. They have been making up their own exchange rate recently that has consistently been much lower than the price at any bitcoin exchange. I have checked Betcoin's exchange rate almost every day for the last 3-4 months in the morning, afternoon and evening and have never once seen it change more than once a day.

Betcoin's biggest referral affiliate Xiaoxiao first received confirmation from Betcoin sometime on or before June 14th, that BTC exchanges for WPN tourneys were in real-time. Then he was informed on June 17th that the rate will 'change a lot' or adjusted often. All lies told to him by Betcoin.

15k guaranteed with 5k overlay is nice but does anyone know what the current exchange rate is for tournaments? I'm on mobile.

It looks like WPN tourneys that are in USD are converted in real time each second now.

You cannot be serious. How and why would you ever think that? It's as if you have absolutely no clue whatsoever how Betcoin operates. There is a fixed rate for bitcoin that Betcoin sometimes changes daily. It is also always so much lower than any listed price at any exchange.

You are absolutely correct.  I had received confirmation that 'it is now in real time.'  However after inquiring more today I was told otherwise and that the rate will 'change a lot' or adjusted often.

Good find. Everyone should stop playing any Betsoft Casino games if they refused to pay when a large amount is won.
Also, shame on Betcoin for not standing behind their own player. This is not good at all.

I would strongly advise not playing any WPN tourneys through Betcoin until they either fix/address the currently incorrect conversion prices they are using

Betcoin's price has still not changed since yesterday. It is still at $555.56 while the average between Bitstamp.net and Preev.com is ~ $655. Lying, scheming scumbags.

I call BULLSHIT! They haven't ever done a damn thing to make it automated. I was told over a year ago that they were working on getting it done. All of a sudden now they find out that WPN programmers must fix it? Exactly WTF have they done on this quest if they just found that out now? They just got caught with their pants down and are scrambling for a way out and trying to make it look like they've been working so hard to get it done.

Quote
WPN Tourney Bitcoin Exchange Rate

In our continuing quest to have the bitcoin exchange rate automated and work in real time for buyins with the WPN tournaments, there was a recent error that caused it to crash and it clearly has not changed. This is top priority to us, however it must be fixed by WPN programmers who are working on the issue.

We will also have them add a feature that we can use to adjust the exchange rate manually on our end if this ever happens again. We do not know the eta on this but we certainly don't want our great players to have to deal with his issue and we certainly don't want there to be any problems anytime ever.

We thank you as always for playing with us and wish you the best of luck!

The policy from the beginning as advised by parent company was to not respond to forum posts that are not constructive, which our parent doesn't do.  We tried to take a different approach, but when a player who claims to not like our site spends more time on our website than any other player and nearly as much time as staff and spams it with usernames like "faggot" and "LotsaPenises" as well as tries to impersonate members of the bitcoin community like Theymos we have to draw the line.

Following is just a sampling of one users accounts created over a 3 day period (There are literally over 200 more).

You can probably guess what user it is.

We will leave it to you to judge the users credibility.

I also encourage anyone who questions my credibility to speak up, I'm willing to be reasonable, respond to all questions and stand behind everything I've said about Betcoin.

Betcoin,
You would be disputing my allegations if you could, but instead this is all you can do.

Imagine if you spent the time trying to silence me on fixing the issues I refuse to let you bury?

I'll make a thousand more accounts if I have to, you can't shut me up.  Sorry. (no I'm not)

Or you could take the gto road and head over to the scam accusation forum, accept responsibility, and try to start making things right.

So you are confirming that what I showed about you lying about your exchange rate is true.  That's a (very very small) step in the right direction.

I notice, however, that you've ignored my questions about your plagiarism.  Why?

Also you mention your "parent company".  Who is this?

Oh, also, will you be refunding your loyal customers (who you claim to be there for) who were mischarged by your incorrect conversion rate?  Seems like everyone who has lost money on WTN tournaments since your "error" is due compensation, since you charged them too much on all of their tournament buy ins.  When should your loyal players expect these refunds to hit their accounts?

Please don't ignore or deflect my questions.  Please be there for me.  Here are the questions again:

1. Why did you commit plagiarism?

2. Who is your parent company?

3. When will you be refunding the players who were overcharged due to the error you just admitted to?

 Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

Just signed up to figure this out. Won a good amount in a tourney after just joining betcoin and the wallet and website are down. They don't respond to emails...yet This common for this place? Also their casino gave me an error after placing a bet on blackjack. Came back and money was gone. Just want my money and move on to a reliable site.

More blatant lies from Betcoin.

We will certainly suggest that. This is clearly a problem if we could fix we would do so immediately and we will work to get the tools to do so immediately. We thought it was fixed and in real time which it was for the past 10 days. We are here for you and thank you very much.

Let me say this again: I have checked Betcoin's exchange rate almost every day for the last 3-4 months in the morning, afternoon and evening and have never once seen it change more than once a day. Betcoin has never done a single thing to get their exchange rate to work in real-time until they got caught and pressured here. Why don't you just stop lying already, face the facts and stop insulting everyone's intelligence?

WPN Tourney Bitcoin Exchange Rate

https://www.betcoin.ag/wpn-tourney-bitcoin-exchange-rate

In our continuing quest to have the bitcoin exchange rate automated and work in real time for buyins with the WPN tournaments, there was a recent error that caused it to crash and it clearly has not changed. This is top priority to us, however it must be fixed by WPN programmers who are working on the issue.

We will also have them add a feature that we can use to adjust the exchange rate manually on our end if this ever happens again. We do not know the eta on us being able to manually fix it but we certainly don't want our great players to have to deal with his issue and we certainly don't want there to be any problems anytime ever.

We thank you as always for playing with us and wish you the best of luck!

We have been monitoring this since the fix on Friday and it seems to be working in real time.  Should there ever be an error in this again, please contact us immediately.  Thank you.

Oh noes!  You seemed to have missed my very clear, very easy to answer questions.  All of which were based on things that you yourself said.  If you could please be there for me and answer them now, I'd really appreciate it.

Is it that you just don't comprehend what "in real time" means? Betcoin's BTC exchange rate for WPN tourneys right now is 1,000 / 1.62 = $617.28 and it hasn't changed once all day and it has never changed more than once a day.

But according to you:

for your "on the fly" conversions, but BTC exchange do you reference to do it?

We currently blend bitstamp and btc-e and take the average.  Thank you.

BTC-e??... low volume and the one of exchanges who offers an average of 4% less than others (per the Winkdex) for USD... well played Betcoin, you make a nice profit off the backs of your players simply on the buy-in (plus the wonky RB for WPN tourneys)... and then even a percentage of the winnings if a Betcoin player wins!

I actually stand corrected and should have confirmed with programming before typing as it is bitstamp.net and preev.com, but thank you for helping me clarify this.

However, here are the prices:

BTC @ Bitstamp = $647.65
BTC @ Preev.com = $646.40

Average = $647.03

So once again, can you please stop lying and insulting everyone's intelligence? This is getting utterly ridiculous.
