Betcoin Poker Announces Spin to Get IN Tournaments!

Betcoin Poker is excited to introduce Spin to Get IN tournament entry in most tournaments offered at Betcoin.

https://www.betcoin.ag/betcoin-poker-announces-spin-get-tournaments

Part satellite, part slot machine

Spin to get IN is another way of getting your entry into our great tournaments - instead of paying the full buy-in you can spin the slot in the tournament's lobby for just 0.01mbtc, 0.25mbtc or 1mbtc. If you hit three-of-a-kind you win a seat in the tournament!

Spin to Get IN is also available to re-enter into tournaments; however, it’s not available when you’re already registered in the event.

Spin to Get IN is not a typical slot machine. Although there are three different wager amounts, the prize remains the same - the entry cost into the poker event. However, your chances of winning become better with a larger wager. And we have to point out that the payout is 98% - slot hold is just 2%.

If you want to calculate your chance of winning, you can use this formula:

(Slot Wager - Slot Hold) / Event Entry = Chance to Win

Spin to get IN Today!

.03 mBTC = $.02.

The buyin for the tournament was $16.50 which is .024BTC or 24 mBTC.

Whoever wrote that doesn't understand how bitcoins work.

I tried to bring this up and they ignored me, deflecting to some nonsense.  Then ignored my very simple follow up (which was really just asking them to stay on topic) and instead answered a softball freeroll question.

We actually didn't write the article or make the forum post, but now we see what you reference and yes it should have been 0.03 btc not 0.03 mbtc.  We thank you for your correction and have updated the main article on the site.  Sometimes proofreading mistakes happen but we are thankful we have you to help us out!  Fortunately several hundred people daily trust their coins and their play at Betcoin and realize that mistakes happen from time to time when writing articles.  Our player wrote a very solid article however we must add.

You did make the forum post.  It's right here on this page!  Just look up and you can see that it was made by "Betcoin.ag".  Are you saying that someone hacked your account?  Are you saying that you stole someone else's work?  Because you didn't attribute the post to anyone.  That's very unethical to post something that someone else wrote as if you wrote it yourself.

Here are my questions again, because I know you often have trouble staying on topic and frequently make statements that have no bearing on the questions:

Did you make the post on here about TuxedoMaskPoker getting 3rd in a tournament?

Did you write the post on here about TuxedoMaskPoker getting 3rd in a tournament?

If you didn't write the post, why did you not attribute it to the person who did write it?

Please be there for me and answer these very simple questions, all based on comments you just made.

It's been three days.  Why did you not answer these very simple questions, asked in clear English, all based on comments that you made?  Why are you not there for me?

Pretty serious accusation against Betcoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1517648.0

Cliffs:

JasonOrt bets max with .5 denom on Glam-Life and triggers 4 extra spins.

On 4th spin he gets 5 yacht symbols and wins 1000 credits, not jackpot.

Pay table says:

(No other rules found anywhere about Jackpot)

A) Betcoin tells him he was not eligible because it was a free spin and attempt to shame him by telling him most players know what he does not:
Quote
most players understand that it is a bonus or free round and there are different outcomes because of that.
Then lock his thread: https://www.betcoin.ag/should-pay-line-have-won-jackpot-glam-life, and delete most of the comments.

Jasons Defense:
GreedyGoblins is another slot with a progressive Jackpot offered by the same service provider.
Here you can see they clarify that even though the freespin round offers multipliers, the jackpot can not be multiplied.  This implies that the jackpot is not excluded during free spins.

B) Betsoft Gaming tells him he was not eligible because he did not bet max with the highest denomination.

Quote
Thank you for your inquiry. We can confirm that your win was correct in this situation. A maximum bet for this game is the highest denomination which is 1.00, whereas in this particular round, you bet 0.50, even though you chose 'Max Bet', the jackpot is only won when it is the maximum bet (1.00).

Jasons Defense:

Every denomination clearly has an independant jackpot.  When you switch denominations, the jackpot changes.

On casinolistings.com they track bovadas Glam Life Jackpot.  It's clear they are independant and all denominations are eligible:

The owner of casinolistings.com also chimed in: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1517648.msg15313569#msg15313569

Finally we have the comments of plo8monster, Betcoins lone site "pro" and the father half of the father/son chat mods.

While being discussed in chat he sided with Betcoin immediately:
Quote
plo8monster: thats totally not true lol ungod ... the bonus max out at 1000chips, and the vendor has that rule .. betcoin dont pay it the vendor does ... you guys all jump on bandwagon ... but these are vendors that do sports and casino games ..... I dont have time to get into this tonight ...but the vendor limits bonus wins @ 1000 chips .... if he were spending his money and made that spin he would be Phat with coin

After the story was clear, 2 days later, he made these statements:
Quote
plo8monster: i told you im not gonna to join that conversation ..im a poker pro smart enuf not to play slots ...i played maybe 10 times in my life
plo8monster: i am not knowledgable about slots
plo8monster: slots is not something i can help with i know zero about them
plo8monster: I had a roomate at that time playing my slots and showing me how with my bonuses ... but i am not a slots player
plo8monster: why ya gotta be such a biiiish twitchy
plo8monster: this issue with Jason is NOT MY BUSINESS ... how many times must i tell you same thing it is waste of time

Hopefully Betcoin will have time to respond to this sometime between thanking users for kind words and going home for the weekend.

Oh almost forgot, the jackpot was 1,007,249.91 credits at .5mbtc denomination.  (503.6249 BTC current value of ~$383,000)

You fail to mention that jasonort plays at Betcoin.ag Casino frequently even after this and is well aware that these are Betsoft rules.  We also speak to him frequently and he very much enjoys the experience at Betcoin Casino over other bitcoin casinos.

Most of the top casinos feature Betsoft games and you play directly on the casinos servers under their rules and we pay out based on this and are credited on a big win such as this would have been.  It would have been awesome for us from a marketing perspective to announce this win, but it is not a jackpot win within Betsoft's rules as it is a free spin and not a max bet paid round according to Betsoft.  The result would have been the same on any other website.

jasonort has no problem with Betcoin or our handling of the matter and we have attempted to assist him with whatever we can.

Funny, you say the same bs about me.

How could Jasonort be well aware of any rules other than the rules that are published?

How are you aware of these rules?  Where are they?  Just show the damn rules and you can shut everyone up.

I get that the games are provided by Betsoft, I don't get why you wouldn't back up your player.
You should spend some time reading the evidence.  Jason did bet the maximum for the .5 denomination progressive Jackpot, which was ~500 bitcoin.
Had he been betting the highest denom, the jackpot would of been over 2,000 Bitcoin.
By the way, your front page advertises the jackpot as 3,800 Bitcoin.  Might want to fix that million+ dollar difference.
Some slot machines don't allow jackpots during free spins.  Some do.  You can tell which is which by reading the rules.  Give it a try.
The whole thing stinks of scum.

I see why you ignore me all the time though, attempting to defend yourself only makes you look even worse.

Twitchyseal you have created over 250 accounts and spent more time on Betcoin.ag than any player and most of staff in Betcoin.ag history.  You have had 249 accounts completely terminated, which has eliminated countless posts equating to hours, days, weeks and months of work over a two year period.

Your commitment and passion are unparalleled and quite frankly unbelievable!

Every great company, entertainer, artist, sportstar etc has it's heckler and really it is to be embraced because when someone spends this much of their most valuable asset, their time with you...you are onto something great!

Thanks for your support twitchyseal and now back to assisting our great customers!

Welcome to Betcoin Poker.  It takes some getting used to at first but when you play in $ WPN tournaments you are using your bitcoin to buyin to $ tournaments therefore it is converted on the fly in real time.  When you bought into the tournament $11 = 26 chips, now $11 equals 18 chips and that is what is deducted from your account.  We hope that this is clear and thank you for joining us.  We will check with who you were speaking with in support.

We currently blend bitstamp and btc-e and take the average.  Thank you.

BTC-e??... low volume and the one of exchanges who offers an average of 4% less than others (per the Winkdex) for USD... well played Betcoin, you make a nice profit off the backs of your players simply on the buy-in (plus the wonky RB for WPN tourneys)... and then even a percentage of the winnings if a Betcoin player wins!

As much as I hate to do this, but betcoin.ag pissed me off so much... I wasted a lot of my time and I feel like nobody at this firm cares about customers... With so much competition for business online, this is out of the door ridiculous…

What is your username?  You mention an upgrade in your post but there was no such upgrade and we also don't see the wager you reference or have any javascript errors you suggest.  Thanks!

I actually stand corrected and should have confirmed with programming before typing as it is bitstamp.net and preev.com, but thank you for helping me clarify this.
