Please fill us in on TMB closing?
TMB Closing??? WTF? how did you found out?, is there any post somewhere? i didn't find anything. TMB was my #1 post of almost a year, until they decide to put neoscrypt in auto-algo-switching, and since my miners doesn't have neoscrypt I had to switch to another pool (80 x 7950 GPUs) too bad that I finally had the new software ready for multi-multi with neoscrypt built in, and now the pool is gone

What's the best alternative?
Are we actually able to keep mining on TMB until January 1st?
Are there any services that offer managing your rigs to get the bet payout? Like renting/multipools etc?

TMB Closing??? WTF? how did you found out?, is there any post somewhere? i didn't find anything. 2014-12-17 at 06:09pm EST: It saddens me that it has come to this, but TMB will be closing its doors. Wallets and website will stay up for at least 2 weeks to allow users to withdraw coins. During this time, the auto-exchange will continue to run on coins that are exchangeable. It's been an absolute pleasure mining with all of you, chatting in IRC and on twitter. I'll always be around as merx on freenode, and merc on the irc.trademybit.com server. Thanks for the great year!

Dang, really liked having this pool as a backup/option =( Fortunately, it looks like YAAMP also offers API access, so I guess it's my new backup pool. Will miss TMB, but at least my tmb.py switching script lives on. I am also looking for a good pool for X11 and X13 switching pool. What is the "cost" for converting to btc on yaamp?

Did you try out Nicehash.com? Not really a pool but with auto profit switching and payouts in BTC.

Profitable? With the BTC price in the last 3 months and increased energy prices? Mining is only profitable together with smart trading and hype on some coins.

Electricty is very cheap here and mining X11 gives off almost as much heat that it uses in energy consumption and since it's winter and you take into account your heat bill you're saving on, it's still profitable here. In any case, what I meant was the way to make the most out of mining.

The pleasure was mine! Unfortunately TMB has been running at a pretty steep loss for the last several months -- and the time commitment to keep it running (with a pretty heavy DDoS) just became something I was unable to do given the loss ;/ If mining profits take a turn upwards, or if a really nice coin gets launched -- tmb may open its stratum up again

Hi merc. I have ~8.17 DRK that aren't being transferred out of my account. The website stated that the transaction was pending, but I haven't seen anything in my account for the last couple of days. My userid is maxpowerzz702. Thanks for the assist.
BTW. Great job running TMB. It was awesome to have the option to keep several coins, while autoexchanging others. Hopefully it'll come back online when profits return.

I also have this problem. I have 3.5 darkcoins in TMB that I cannot seem to get out. I tried setting it to auto exchange because I really dont care whether I have it in BTC or DRK, but it sat there for 3 days. I tried using multiple addresses to no success. Username Xcellsior TMB was a great pool. Sad to see it go.

I hope there will be some movement and TMB goes online again. Maybe you should have added sha for paycoin before shutdown, it turned out to be a huge profit, but now its already too late. Hope to see you around and I hope even more that there will be a reason for going online, in any case, keep me/us informed. Again, for me it was by far the best (i mean most profitable) pool, thanks for that.

We are also sorry to hear that TMB is shutting down, it was one of recommended pools for our hashing power buyers. Anyways, if you are a miner and you are looking for a decent multi-algo replacement in the meanwhile we welcome you to our try and point you miners to NiceHash multialgo pool ... https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=multialgo#finetuning We are looking forward to see TMB stratums alive again one day!

It's unfortunate this pool is closing. It was one of the most stable pools I mine on. Hopefully things pick up and it becomes profitable for you to run again. Good luck!
Please tell me the same isn't happening to MRR!
