If I want to send XCP from my blockchain.info PoB account to my real BTC address, do I need to download the private key from blockchain.info and run counterpartyd? Is there any other way?

Pathetic trade volume in BTER and poloniex.
Yes, now the price is so low, Such low prices leads to a decline in the volume of trade!

Why should I pay attention to XCP and not to MSC? Because XCP is a good coin, It is worth us to invest it!

I have some XCP on blockchain.info from when I burned 1BTC and I have a lot in an exchange. Would it be wise to consolidate all of it under my own BTC address where I have all of my BTC? Is that done by withdrawing my XCP from blockchain.info and the exchange to my BTC wallet address? I don't want to screw this up.
I'm in a similar situation. What I've done is kept all my XCP in a Blockchain.info account to help limit risk. Once Counterwallet is out, I will move my XCP there, then move back any XCP I don't need immediate access to, to Blockchain.info. Alternatively, I will learn how to store XCP locally and move them from Counterwallet to an offline machine. I am in similar situation too. The wait for counterwallet is getting longer and longer What are our current options? Can we send our XCP to a normal BTC address and store it there? Yes we can send our XCPs to any BTC address and store them there What makes XCP's different how do you tell the difference between them and regular bitcoins in you address? I did not know I could just store them in any BTC address.

The error means that PIP, which is the python packages installer has failed to install the dependencies listed in the reqs.txt file. Do you have a more complete error log? One thing you can try is removing python if an old version is installed.

Product and Service Updates April 3, 2014Our mission is to digitize all valuable assets into the Counterparty platform and to build a trustless, yet reputable service that delivers unmatched ability to access asset markets, globally. Purchasing 1/2 Ounze of Gold with Bitcoin Tangible Trust process and Counterparty community member led_cd/Global_trade Repo:Proof of Custody is Live!! We have received and published Proof of Custody from DSD for led_cd's gold. You may review the proof of custody here: http://bitcointangibletrust.com/assets/ Proof of Custody is required as part of our "Circle of Trust" for our gold buyers. Without proof of custody, your physical assets are at risk and we want to be the leading crytpo company that can both prove physical and digital asset security. What do you think of the proof? S pecial thanks to Counterparty community member sparta_cuss who helped us craft this policy and service offering.New Counterparty Community CustomerWe have a new Counterparty Community customer who has offered to purchase $15,000 worth of Digital Gold coins with BitcoinTangible Trust. We're still customizing the terms of custody, but will update you as soon as they are ready to go live, which we hope to announce next week at the start of the purchase process. Help us give away five "Pieces of Eight" Digital Silver CoinsWe'd like to give away five Digital Silver Coins on the forums, but we need the community's help. How would you recommend we promote our Digital Silver giveaway in such a way to promote BitcoinTangibleTrust Services, Counterparty's DEX and to promote XCP? We want to launch the promotion on Wednesday, April 16th, right after US Tax Deadline day when everyone's most likely depressed they had to pay taxes on their digital holdings. Our Community Ask: Will you help us out and share just one good promotional idea that we might use? Thank you Counterparty Devs and the Counterparty Community. Why should I pay attention to XCP and not to MSC? What is the latest comparison of these two? How do Ethereum, Colored Coins, and ProtoShares compare? To be honest, I think Counterparty has the least self-interest, and probably the most dedicated/talented coders. It seems they are doing their best to think years ahead.

Do you see a lack of self-interest as beneficial to the coin, community or investors? I would argue that they are too focused on the current environment rather than thinking of the future. This is evident by our initial and intended reliance on bitcoin. Is it really so hard to think of a future where bitcoin will not be the most widely accepted and used cryptocurrency?Yahoo and Myspace used to be kings in their respective categories, now look at them. Early adopter advantage doesn't last forever. The fact that the majority of the community has given up on mining bitcoin is alarming to say the least. The power is becoming more and more concentrated and the little guys are being squeezed out. The future can not accept 10 minute transaction times and it seems unlikely that any changes (not additions) to the initial bitcoin protocol will be implemented.

I think it's a little different with payment processing look at visa and Mastercard. Still there collecting dust and gold coins. Personally I hear about nxt doing HFT and we can't even compete with that... 100 tx a sec seems to put counterparty out of work if they have the security to back it up.

Personally I hear about nxt doing HFT and we can't even compete with that... 100 tx a sec seems to put counterparty out of work if they have the security to back it up. You guys should keep your focus. There is indeed no guarantee that BTC will be the leading crypto 5 years from now, but it has the best chances to indeed be the leader. There are several reasons for this. Any call out for moving out of the BTC blockchain that provides counterparty with the best chance to succeed are an irresponsible gamble on top of a high risk proposition as it stands anyways. The smart money that will invest around 300M in VC funds in the BTC ecosystem is doing it because BTC represents the least risk and most proven blockchain of all clones and other attempts after being attacked and surviving strongly for 4 years. As the ecosystem grows more users will come. not BTC not etherium (which is a white paper +++ at this point) are meant for HFT. HFT is a specific vertical area with nothing to do with counterparty or BTC for that matter. NXT's 1000 per second is a claim very far from being proven or relevant to us. BTC is able to do 7 transactions per second. doesnt seem like a lot---- but at it's very pick in last year's spike towards $1200 it needed 1.5 per second which is 20% of its capacity. There is time until the 7 is indeed needed and it will increase as there are solutions in the works to gradually handle more. with various clearing and services within the ecosystem that will service retail, this doesnt even matter. ---------------- The thing that bothered you was the BTC devs attitude. Except from Luke jr.'s language and attitude, all devs that I read on the matter, even if not agreeing to our devs methods and even if I personally dont agree with them, were very intelligent and respectful. They dont need to agree with the CP devs--- but as long as there is a dialogue -- things will work out. give this a break. CP should stay and work and improve the BTC layer and there is no doubt that this could and should work and get bigger once GUI is improved and we move forward.

None of the distributed exchanges/coins can do High Frequency Trading(HFT). HFT requires that you execute trades in 0.0000001 seconds, not in 1 minute(Nxt) or 10 minutes(Bitcoin). The throughput of a coin does not matter, only the confirmation time and the reliability of transactions.
