I just tried to create a new webwallet but nothing happened after clicking on the "Open Wallet" button. I can confirm the same issue using Firefox. Entering passphrase and clicking doesn't result in any activity after clicking "Open Wallet" which changes to blue when the passphrase is entered.

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

I honestly think its too early for mainnet with all the ongoing bugs and stuff, but well..the Counterparty release itself was rushed so I guess its in line with the high risk, first to market approach the dev team has taken all along.

Amazing and great work! Congratulations all! The release of counterwallet will greatly improve the acceptance of Counterparty's use. More and more people will use it easily.More stocks and assets and coins will be issued and traded through Counterparty protocol!

For fiat the process would be to create a pegged digital asset, to the dollar, for example, that is backed by someone who is trustworthy. For property you would create a token (asset) that signifies ownership that real world asset. The process for having the token actually award ownership in a court is unknown to me and likely has a different process in each country.

If I want to send XCP from my blockchain.info PoB account to my real BTC address, do I need to download the private key from blockchain.info and run counterpartyd? Is there any other way?
no other way until web-wallet launch as soon as these web wallets are done (both for xcp and mastercoin), i want to go and start setting up satoshis square events for large cities who wants to help me? i can cover europe, need people world wide, and da moon of course no pay for this, this is to teach people how to do p2p commerce so they can teach others. no one? sad...

Counterparty is undervalued seriously. Counterparty and we should take action in marketing and advertisement after the issue of the counterwallet. Let more people know Counterparty and use it.

Lots of Mastercoiners in LA already, so I could step up for this if there's not someone more eager.

I can't seem to find instructions for sweeping a blockchain.info wallet with the online counterparty wallet anywhere, also is there an official launch time tomorrow?

You click the "import funds" button in Counterwallet. But you can't do it yet, as the mainnet release is not until Sunday. EDIT: you cannot do it yet, with mainnet funds. You can of course do it with testnet funds.

I just sold 98% of my Nxt holdings this week because I see too many problems with it and Nxt community here at bitcointalk is full of knuckleheads who basically ran me off for asking technical questions. I don't know much about counterparty but I've heard it's pretty cool and does more than Nxt. Can the community here help me get started?

Yes, is there some XCP for dummies? Just in 5 sentences, how to explain advantages XCP?
