this fucking coin is dead, zero trading on cryptorush.in the whole fucking week!!!!
And I still have 3million NDL coins. The dev. probably dumped his coins and then pissed off!!!
I am going to whip his ass!!!

Triple reward at every "7th" day must be changed. We also need KGW implented. Look at block 89519 found at 2014-03-09 21:25:01. At this block the difficulty changed to 0.045 and therefore it was very very easy to mine. 60 blocks later should normaly take 1 hour, but block 89579 was instead found at 2014-03-09 21:28:22 That means someone took the opportunity to mine 60 blocks of 30k NDL within just 201 seconds. That said, someone threw ~57MH/s precisely for this 60 blocks at NDL. ( time = (diff * 2^32) / hashrate ) Now we are stuck with a difficulty of 0.73 which means an average block time of 19 minutes (instead of 1) at the current net hashrate of 2.76MH. This is easy to increase five- or tenfold if we all help out for a moment. But this is no longterm solution as this will happen again and again for the profits of one. Lessons we have learned:- Don't encourage miners to come by only once a week - Implement more intelligent difficulty retarget algorithm |

In fact. Last block that synchronizes is 13 hours old. Anyone here who already set up a node for any coin? edit: found the problem: as stated above, there's someone that throws 50+Mhs at this coin from time to time. Now the difficulty is as 0.72 and he left, while nobody wants to mine the next 14 blocks (last block found 13hrs ago), as that guy will immediately come back to mine 60 triple reward blocks within 2 minutes and then leave again. Without changing the algorithm there's no hope for this coin. |
