Why is diff slowing creeping upwards monotonically? Just more people mining or is it part of the protocol?
I was wondering the same thing, the increase is so slow and steady and I haven't seen it go down at all that it does seem to be almost artificial. |

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

So when is micro going on coinedup?
Hopefully soon. We got another mention on holynerdvana.. I think a lot of people read that guy's blog, because after he wrote a VTC article the hashrate quadrupled the next day. |

Hm, I didnt notice that yet. Indeed, it looks like it is increasing exponential. Miners will earn less coins, but the coin is likely to get a higher value now Its just more and more people mining. I mine from the beginning and watched all the ups and lows, diff retarget works nice. yeah, it is the nFactor that will be noticable. |

I was thinking about the N-refactor earlier today...
If the number of miners stays approximately the same, and the effective hashrate reduces due to the N-refactor, the diff should go DOWN, right?

I remember dev say somewhere on thread; it may change if needed but anyway stake amount will be irrelevant small to collecting profits. That's all I know about that. |
