NF 12 is current - if you mine with NF 14, you'll get just rejects ...

The miner decides (based on current time and coin chosen) which NF to use - and if it is correct, the share is accepted, if not, it is rejected.

Windows? seems to work for some people and not for others. Before updating, i suggest you backup the current exe, and you MUST delete C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\CACHeCoin\blk*.dat and copy wallet.dat to a safe place. Then try the new binaries.
