Let's open 2 wAllets, 1 for our CEO(Vertcoin creator) salary and another one for VTC promotion and hiring people that can really contribute to this coin.  Every month you decide how much you want to send depending on your judgement in long term performance.
I understand people's mind and the developer(clearly an INTP) usually fails to enjoy retribution from their creation's.  In my opinion he clearly deserve's it and by doing this, we guarantee that Vertcoin has all the means to become the next Litecoin and create a whole new field.

There is a donation address in Vertcoin's (the dev's forum name) signature. I agree on the donation part. Dont see a reason to have someone else hold it in a different wallet, though.

Does the modded CGminer work with CGWatcher? Does it allow mining other scrypt coins too? Whether they're standard scrypt or scrypt-jane or whatever.

Would be nice if there's a modded CGminer out there that also has the same update as the Vertminer.

look at these dumpers. fools!

Finally I get into a coin that's worth something. My life isn't a complete psychological trainwreck nightmare anymore (lost 6btc, or even more just in January alone, after gaining them in November/December, from very minimal initial investment money). Thank you dev, coin, community; got in with 0.8btc at 0.00095.

i am using vertminer with cgwatcher

under settings point to vertminer (you may have to type it in manually because it only looks for cg miner, but it works)

Glad to hear it works with CGwatcher! Can you try mining something other than Vertcoin just to test it out?

or you can simply rename vertminer to cgminer

This update actually dropped the hash on my r9 270s by almost 30 KH/s. :/

Do you use the --shaders option?

If yes, please try it first without. Then you should get the same hashrate as before (this is a check if everything works fine with old cgminer intensity).
Afterwards you can use --shaders again and try to increase intensity (if you are not already at 20).

Let me know how it works.
During my tests with the new intensity my 5770 does not like intensity 13 (only 62kh)
I 12 (76 kh) and I 14 (83 kh) are much better.
The 7950 has the same behaviour as before / slightly better.

I don't use the shaders option with my config. I can try different intensities, but with my stock config file I definitely lost some umph when I moved up.

Hey guys, I think I know the answer to this but just need some verification - if you switch nodes with P2Pool you don't have to start over with the PPNLS system, right? These long payout times are driving me nuts, I can't tell if it's working! Been P2P for about a day or so now, as expected w/ rising difficulty much more payouts earlier today and yesterday and not so much tonight...

Don't forget to start up the idea that people can buy things with Vertcoin! This coin's got so much actuality going for it, and only more options to gain via innovation like that.
